No im saying their free agent signings of late have been more like a small market team. They have drafted well is the difference. Russell, Ingram and Randle were pretty easy picks but Clarkson and Nance are late finds. Even then we seem to suck at even making obvious picks.
Refs didn't let Cousins get mugged all night. They let him get mugged the whole 2nd half. They completely changed how they were calling the game and it changed the entire game. It wasn't just Cousins either. Gay was not getting whistles inside either. It wasn't how the called the game both ends either.

Totally disagree about Casspi. His chicken with a head cut off, discount Cisco Garcia act doesn't help the team.
To be fair, that same Lakers team has already beaten the Warriors this season. They're putting some good young pieces together and developing chemistry. They came out of the halftime break with a good defensive game plan and our guys couldn't execute their offense. Collison should be back in the starting lineup and I'd rather have Barnes, Temple, or McLemore starting at SG -- Afflalo and Lawson should be the guys playing limited minutes.

Pathetic. Please blow this team up and fire Vlade and do the full rebuild we need. Worst backcourt in the GD league, WCS is the worst draft pick out of all the lotto picks from his class, smh. Trade Cuz and Rudy because they are the only assets we have, and frankly they'd have to be retarded to want to stay in this clown show.

I'll always point out those drafts after Boogie where they didn't add any talent to the team as the true reason they are so mediocre. There has to be an answer for this team when Boogie gets doubled.

All they do is cram the paint on one end and run pick and roll with whoever Cousins is guarding on the other end. Pretty easy recipe. Blazers will eat us alive with this strategy and guys like Lillard and Mcollum.

Everything I see getting complaints is true. The refs swallowed the whistle. The Kings couldn't hit a shot. But you know what teams do that nullifies all of that? They play defense. Where is it? Another team got wide open shots from the corner 3 again, and killed the Kings in screen and roll again. It's time to change things up.

TERRIBLE. I am seriously considering taking a break from this organization. I am exhausted with the excuses every single year. I don't want to hear about ownership changes, coaching changes, roster dumps and changes, Cousins not having good enough talent around him or 5 different coaches. Yeah yeah give this team 20 games, new coach, players, etc. The Lakers have new players and a new coach! I'm tired of the drama that seems to follow this team no matter what the false optimism is before each season. Its depressing to watch this crap year in and year out. I just honestly feel like I'm watching for nothing now. Im not a Cousins hater or generally listen to the sports media but if there is one thing i will agree with 100% is that he is absolutely NOT a leader. The new arena is great but I've been a fan of BASKETBALL since the 80's and I've never once rooted for an arena. I get excited for good basketball and what we see from the Kings night in and night out is inconsistency. 10 years of it now. Of all the teams to rebuild and become better than us first it has to be the freaking Lakers!!! I'm a mellow person but tonights game got me angry with everything that is Kangz.

Absolutely -t his is key and elementary - Kings do not have the personnel to make teams pay for doubling. No McClemore in the game was dumbfounding on Joerger. They were having a wretched time scoring and could not right the nose-dive.

Dude, everytime the Kings play bad you say, "get rid of this player, or that player".....I think you've probably said to get rid of every single player at one time since you've been on this board........Next thing you know, you'll be saying to get rid of the Coach, which would be the worst mistake the Kings would ever make........

Stop embarrassing yourself! If the coach Ian drawing up a play to get a player double teamed it's the players fault for not moving the ball to get the open man the shot.

You're happy with WCS and Papa as his lotto draft picks? Keeping Lawson over Farmar? Trade with Sixers that is hamstringing our rebuild efforts? Not trading Rudy in the offseason? This is a 35 win team max, and all our assets are going to walk for nothing. The writing is on the wall, start a real rebuild now and get someone in charge that knows what they're doing.

I agree about Temple. His plus on defense brings a bit of a minus on offense. Kings at one stretch were 2/14. Joerger wants to focus on defense, fine, but this game showed they need practice on offensively.

Raiders are finally good because they took their medicine and did a competent rebuild after Al Davis died...they put some real football people in charge and made smart draft picks. We need to do the same and stop pretending this team is any good.

That's a great point!!! All we've been doing over the last couple of decades is getting rid of this player or getting rid of that player, and where has that got us???? Even if Vlade was fired, there's no promise that whoever replaced him would do a better job......I get tired of getting rid of players and firing coaches year after year, and it doesn't make any difference as we still lose, so might as well work and building some stability and making "well calculated" trades in the off season, but it's stupid to rush into anything.

The reason we suck is really the post and pre cousins drafts. We got lucky trading a bunch of junk for Rudy but failing to add top talent in the draft for over a decade sans Cousins is the real reason why we suck. Teams have scouted us out now as they do every year. We do not have a perimeter playmaker in a league with rules taliored for multi threat guards.
When we were down 6 or so I thought to myself who can hit a quick 3 for us off the dribble and it dawned on me that no one can. Gritty basketball cant win night in and night out anymore, teams can see that we can not shoot and just stuff up the paint and not being able to hit a shot off the dribble will be our downfall.
If we lose to these baby lakers who have won a 2 championships broke up a team then rebuilt properly in the same span that we have been in the lottery then yeah it really makes you wonder if we can succeed this year.
We just need average guard play and Collison is not the anwser.

Smug a little? You have no proof the coach drew up kick-outs or not, the basis of your response. The problem was the coach did not recognize that it was happening repeatedly. That's on the coach more than the player to recognize trends players themselves cannot see or realize in the game.
