"Food poisoning" = NBA code for severe hangover...

There was a good article about Doug in today's Bee which is posted elsewhere on the forum.

What's your point exactly?

Man the way Barnes , Evans, Jackson , Songaila are playing were gonna have a really good bench, lots of energy
I agree!

I think it's pretty clear Barnes and Evans are in the final running for those coveted last spots.

Being sick and tired to see Kings player in suits instead uniforms.

Kings playing poorly in 3rd quarter --- Dirk torching Peja, at least from the broadcast.

And if the jumpers aren't falling, get to the basket. It's the Mavs, for crying out loud.

Whatever.

Name one team who hasn't suffered injuries...

Just tonight, Carlos Arroyo went out with a sprained ankle for Utah.

It happens. It's part of the game.

In this case, you're being really unfair if you're singling out Doug. Since he got here, he has missed FOUR - count them as in 1, 2, 3, 4 - regular games.

This is pre-season, remember?

It's not about winning, especially in this case.

I wouldn't be surprised to find out the Kings had intentionally kept it down a notch. They're coming back on NBA New Year's Day - Nov. 2 - to play the Mavericks for real.

:D

Sounds as if the starters are just out there going through the motions (or at least I hope they are with the results they are getting).

Peja has made some tough shots tonight. Looks like he's practicing creating his own shot and it is working.
I was thinking that too. He is looking real good on his spins and fade-aways.

83-71 Dallas with 1:17 left in the third

Either I've lost patience or Jerry Reynolds/Grant Napear are being a tad more annoying than usual.

Comments like "good teams find a way to win on the road" in a pre-season game? Hello, gentlemen?? You do know this is still pre-season, right?

I never have and never will say anything bad about DC.

There has been a big misunderstanding on Your part here.

I am not blaming anyone - I just stated that it sucks not being able to play the best guys.

P.S.

As a Kings fan I could care less how many players are injured in other teams because that does not help us at all.

If I misunderstood, I apologize. But, on the other hand, you could have been clearer in your comment...

whatever.

Well, hopefully we can just throw this one out since it's preseason because the starters looked a long ways from being ready for the regular season. :)
