Has Rudy ever taken a hard dribble drive towards the basket....and made a pass to an open player? I seriously can't recall every seeing it happen. It's really odd
 
Another game another team putting up 100 on us. Were not getting anywhere until we play last year style defense.
 
They actually just accidentally made a very good point. The tone WAS set for this game very early. Our guys got called for ticky tack crap, while they were allowed to mug DeMarcus. I thought this game was going to be tough. The Celtics move the ball really well, and they force turnovers..... turnovers being our weak spot. I didn't expect it to be so horribly officiated, and make no mistake, that did set the tone.
 
This is way too early to concede the game. Why does it feel like we're just going through the motions? Have some pride! Everybody's been giving lip service to the idea of keeping George Karl long-term, but this team has all the hallmarks of a poorly coached team. Wavering effort night to night, everybody playing two steps back on defense and allowing open jumpers, our offense without Rondo is just a bunch of dribbling around the perimeter and shooting jumpers. The team takes their personality from the coach and our personality this season is "barely made it out of bed this morning". It's getting depressing watching this level of energy game after game.

Seriously? You're blaming this on Karl? Did you even see the effort in the 1st quarter? How on earth can you blame that on Karl? This doesn't happen "game after game". Schemes are one thing, effort is another. These players couldn't give a **** about playing this game. How about our beloved Cousins' performance? Is that on Karl too?

I did see the first quarter. Koufos and Cousins fumbled everything, the refs let Cousins get mugged in the paint on every possession. It was atrocious officiating but the thing is -- that's one quarter. There's always going to be games where you're dealt a bad hand. Teams with a pulse respond and fight back. We lay over and die. Every single time.

I'm wondering if Karl's current stated approach of "delegating" much of the coaching duties to his assistants, just isn't working for the players? His assistants don't strike me as strong convincing types, for NBA players
 
This felt like a pre season exhibition......except that it was a key game for us to get. Now we have to go to Houston and OKC back to back. YIKES.

Well, when the players keep having to call meetings and ask the coach to, well, coach them...... there might be an issue. I think the schemes are a large part of the problem, what IS the scheme??? Does anyone know? You can't call him 'our beloved Cousins' when all you do is ***** about him and his passion for the game, then turn around and ***** about him not caring. It's hypocritical.
 
I know Karl fiercely rejects the notion that he just does not have the energy to coach anymore but listening to his postgame with him breathing extremely hard, like out of breath, for a man just sitting there got my attention. Then on top of that he shows no energy on the sideline anymore either. A few more performances like this and I really think canning him is on the table, if boogie and rondo are on board eff whatever the media reaction will be and just let the man go.
 
Wait. Somebody just tweeted something about a possible suspension for Rondo? Did Howdy Doody or Capt. Kangaroo mention anything about that?
