Wait. Somebody just tweeted something about a possible suspension for Rondo? Did Howdy Doody or Capt. Kangaroo mention anything about that?
No, wtf?

Of course he does. He's not gonna say "I'm not capable of this",....unless he announces his retirement. In the mean time, there's no way
I'm wondering if Karl's current stated approach of "delegating" much of the coaching duties to his assistants, just isn't working for the players? His assistants don't strike me as strong convincing types, for NBA players
Jason Jones will have it Sunday morning.Wait. Somebody just tweeted something about a possible suspension for Rondo? Did Howdy Doody or Capt. Kangaroo mention anything about that?

Post of the day.Jason Jones will have it Sunday morning.
Yeah I was wondering that too. In general he just seems so detached from what's going on on the court. Does anyone think Boston has enough talent to blow us off the court? It's not about talent at this point, it's 100% about heart and effort. The zone defense we're playing this game is atrocious -- nobody knows who to guard so we're not guarding anybody and the same goes for controlling the boards. A coach who wants to win would call a time out and either straighten out the zone plan or switch to man-to-man. Just do something. Don't sit and watch us get our butts kicked. Even if George Karl is saying all the right things behind the scenes, the players are not responding to it. That's painfully obvious just watching the games. We don't look like a team that enjoys playing together. What other explanation is there?
I know Karl fiercely rejects the notion that he just does not have the energy to coach anymore but listening to his postgame with him breathing extremely hard, like out of breath, for a man just sitting there got my attention. Then on top of that he shows no energy on the sideline anymore either. A few more performances like this and I really think canning him is on the table, if boogie and rondo are on board eff whatever the media reaction will be and just let the man go.
Why would they? Its obviously ridiculous. I assume its meant sarcastically.

I’ve had a dislocated finger before…what i just was was definitely a dislocated finger (appeared to be index finger) for WCS
Yeah,....a team that lacks urgency, generally needs an intense motivating coach, who always inspires a sense of urgency. I'm not seeing any of that really
Huh? What I just was was? saw was I assume?
they can be obvious, seen them in football. But you can normally pull them right back into place.
The tired old man is our guy. People have to get used to it.
Exactly. These guys know how to play, but they spend so much time sulking and frowning that they almost forget there's a basketball game going on. You know, the sport you love so much you've made it a career? I don't think the guys we have on the team this year came here just to collect a paycheck. Maybe one or two of them did, but the majority are here to win games. Losing isn't fun. Losing the way we did today is flat out miserable. If they had somebody on the sideline who fired them up before the game, laid into them when they needed it, called timeouts as soon as the other team even thought about going on a run, and just generally acted like winning basketball games is the only thing in their life that matters I think we would see a totally different team. Same players, completely different team. No the coach can't go out on the court and play the game for them, but they can damn sure act like they care how the game is played. Rondo and Cousins are literally begging to be held accountable at this point. Think about how absurd that situation is.
The iceberg is already on the horizon. Full steam ahead ain't going to fix anything.
Not sure how often you get to listen to the radio broadcast, but G-Man's been doing that for at least a decade. So now our broadcast team interviews the other team after our loss?

Isaiah Thomas to G-Man: "We just came out and played harder than them, and we got the win."
Screw that.

No iceberg except of our own making.
We made this bed when we entered the season with Karl as coach. He's here now, he knows how to coach, and he has the ear of the two main guys. So on we'll soldier. If he fails we can try to go a different way in the offseason.

They won't be.
People have to get over this. Rondo and Cousins appear to WANT Karl here. Hence, Karl is going nowhere this year. And if Karl DOES go somewhere this year, its likely a complete disaster as Vivek comes fly in from left field disregarding his players again. Without a very saavy replacement hire, it probably costs you Rondo, and with him its entirely possible, Cousins.
