Kings trying to move up for McLemore?

Two different things. Scoring in the paint in transition which they did a lot of and off a number of putbacks from Faried, an elite offensive rebounder does not equate to half court penetration.

The playoffs made that obvious.

penetration is still not the word I'd use. they lacked post offense, couldn't shoot and had really sucky defense, which figured most prominently in their downfall. Lawson is an elite penetrator and Iggy isn't bad either that's not really where their problem was.

This. DEN has been an elite offensive squad for awhile, but they also haven't been able to stop anything or anyone for a long time.

I'll say I disagree and leave it at that for now. Not really the thread for it or the top thing on my mind at the moment, breaking down why Den was bounced. We can continue it later if you like and go more indepth but my larger point relating to tonight is going after McLemore and replacing Reke with him, if that were to happen, isn't much evidence PDA values penetration which is vital to success.

Or really wants defense. I'm confused and these rumors have left me very anxious as I smell a major screw-up coming.

We won't become the Spurs or the Thunder in a couple of days. I would be more than happy if we improve so much to get close to what the Warriors and Nuggets are right now. Then we will worry about the next steps.

There are no next steps if you trade away potential stars to get there. You are just stuck. Not bad enough to ever get a star. Not good enough to ever beat the teams that have them. Purgatory.

I agree, I'm one of those who wants to keep Reke. I believe we already have our two stars, and one of them will be a top 5 player in this league. We need to fix the roster in order to build around them.
