Douby talking with Grant and Jerry. He said something that sums up the entire difference in the last year and this year.

"I'm getting some time to play," Douby said. "He (Reggie) lets me make some mistakes. He lets me learn. He's not hard on me when I make mistakes. He says not to worry about it or beat myself up. We've got 82 games. Just get ready for the next one."

I'm giddy again, I know, but there is such a huge difference between the whole feeling around the team now ... and what was there last year, during the "Dallas season."

I'll tell people right now. Make plans to attend a game if there's any way you possibly can. This team is gonna be FUN to watch and the excitement radiates from the court, even in pre-season. We're here at the beginning of what culd be a return to the very special relationship the fans have had with their team.
