Watkins is playing great
Other than Greene, the Kings just seem able to do no wrong at the moment, and while Sac's gone from .300 shooting to .500, Portland's dropped from .600 to .382.

Who would you let go to keep him?I think Watkins is a keeper.
Seeing as Shakur didn't get put in until the last 3 minutes, when we were up 21, I think there might be some writing on the wall.
We don't need to let anyone go, you can keep 15 players. That's all we have right now.

Justin Williams, Watkins will end up being a much better NBA player.
But before him I'd get rid of Shakur but like another said we don't have to release anyone.
Like Watkins a lot.

I just wanted to mention something else about this pre-season. I noticed that Henry Turner was not used on the House Party Live, half-time, post game show tonight. Tonight they cut it to just Jim Kozimor with Kayte Christensen. I thought they did a pretty good job. Kayte is very knowledgeable and is improving each game. Unlike Henry, who just affirms whatever Koz says, Kayte added a lot of in depth analysis. She is not as good as Kara, but then Kara improved each year and is better than when she 1st started.

I still think Shakur is cut....but maybe not...depends on if they still plan on trading Bibby

That was right after he came in and that ended up being his only turnover. He ended up notching 4 assists, with a steal, a block and 7 pts. ... not a bad night handling the ball IMO.

I disagree with this statement. I think Watkins will be a solid player on both ends of the floor but what Justin is capable of in the rebounding/shotblocking/energy department can't be overlooked or underestimated.

I really liked what I saw out of Watkins. Hes a got the nba body plus nba athleticism. He looks like he could be solid coming off the bench for us. A front court future of Hawes, J Will (maybe depending on the outcome of his situation) and Watkins could be decent. Obviously they all need some time and game experience but signs of potential. A mobile Miller is a good person for Hawes to learn under since i see him becoming that kind of player. Also i see Moore as a good example to the youngsters what hustle and rebounding can do for you. Cant wait for the season to get underway! GO KINGS!!!!!!

Thing is I think Watkins will be just as good as JW on the rebounding/defense/shot blocking department then add on that Watkins isn't a liability on the offensive end.
Who knows if we'll even see JW again.
