So the questions are: who was pointing the fingers? and was evans justified in being defensive?

I can definitely see why Evan was ticked about players not talking on defense. The bigs have got to cover when Parker is getting screens and that wasn't happening. I'm looking on the bright side. Maybe this is a first step of Evans taking some leadership role.

By the way, we did have the obligatory Beno finger pointing when he and Casspi got into it about a defensive screw up. I had to laugh.

You mean Casspi hasn't heard that Beno never makes a mistake and always blames everyone else? Fortunately, it sounds like Casspi won't back down to anyone. I like his toughness and that he'll stand up for himself, even if he is just a rookie.

While you of course want guys to be upset, a spate of finger pointing and arguing by the 3rd game isn't a particularly great sign for a team chemsitry that's supposed to be building. Could be, if guys take responsibility. But this season is going to have a lot of losses to it, and if guys start blaiming each other this early it could get long. REAL long.

Yeah, I'm hoping it's not out-on-the-floor Beno-like finger pointing. I'm just thinking that if nobody really got mad at the missed assignments, then we'd really be in trouble. This goes back to our discussion on leadership. The leader can't be too concerned with winning a popularity contest. He has to be more concerned with accountability and winning. Tyreke looks like he's asserting himself in that regard. It could be a huge positive. If this 20-year old is confident enough to take that step, then more power to him.
