Well we do have some heart at least. Not much else right now though. We'd probably be losing by the same amount with Artest and Bibby right now anyway.

we won the 3rd and 4th quarter and won the 2nd half by 11. Too bad it was garbage time and Spurs felt sorry

Seeing heart and energy is enough for me right now. And I have to give credit - again - to Reggie and the rest of the coaching staff. This could have been very, very, very ugly. The fact it wasn't is due, at least in part, to the different approach being taken by Coach Theus.

I LOVE THIS TEAM...even with the warts and wrinkles.

Well that was very nice of Pop to let us make it look merely terrible. We should send him some flowers.

While it was sad, sad, sad................at least we came back and only lost by 16. I thought it would be by at least 30.

It could have been. The Spurs packed it in early. Which is kind of what they do -- just a machine. chewed us up, spit us out. No interest in the margin, in sending messages or whatever. Won the game by half, and just coasted home.

who the hell is mahimi

He's our ex 2004 1st# draft (no. 28 IIRC) -Ian Mahinmi, and have just been signed this summer. He's from France, 6'11"+ 230 lbs, introduced to basketball around the age of 11 or 12 yrs old, played for Pau Orthez in his last season before signed (while had been drafted playing for Le Havre). Great athleticism, decent size, and hardworker, but nearly no offensive game to speak about right now. Should be an ideal frontcourt mate for Tiago Splitter -our 2007 1st# draft- in the future. :)

If the Kings keep losing by 16+ points, how long do you think the players will start tuning Reggie out? Two games in a row by losing so many points, this is just going to be a very, very long season.

i really dont believe this team losing is the coaches fault at all. If we only lose by 16 i would say that was a good coaching job by theus. We wont see who this team could have been until everyone is healthy and we are already out of playoff contention

If I'm Theus, I start:
PG - Cisco
SG- Martin
SF - Salmons
PF - Watkins
C - Miller

I play Douby as the 6th man and let Mikki sub in for the Miller and thats about it right now. Greene is getting exposed.

When Artest comes back, he's playing the 4 spot and we just keep sitting Thomas, Rahim, Greene, and then Udrih will get 24 minutes per game.

im more curious on how it feels to be a kings supporter during tough times and losing times, as i became a supporter back in 98-99 when the kings started the winning era. i just have a feeling the kings will go back to the streak of years where we pretty much were always in the bottom of the league.

all i truly want is effort, and i know with players we have theres no way we can become a legitimate team, but knowing that the guys put in 100% each night would be enough for me.

it would be nice to have future plans too :)

btw when does spence come back???

PG - Cisco
SG- Martin
SF - Salmons
PF - Watkins
C - Miller

i agree with this starting lineup, but with salmons as PG, but both him and cisco can have turns in playing the point.

I dunno, I think the team had probably resigned themselves to losing both games in Texas, and didn't really try until after Reggie fired them up at halftime. This is basically last year's team, which was: Kevin, Ron, Mike and some scrubs. With Ron and Mike out, Kevin's not going to get so many open shots, there will be no leader on the floor, and everything goes down the toilet. I'm not sure what Reggie could have done to prevent that.

ouch

i know you don't explain the award names, but i've never seen the RA-1 award before. i understand rafer alston, but i have no clue what it means lol. i'm guessing it refers to the trade that almost happened??

can someone spell out what it means??

Like you're a child grasping for a cookie jar set atop a fridge. You don't need the win, but by God, you want it.
