Did the Kings not have a timeout there? Why not take a timeout to get something set up for Mike or Peja, or even in the post by Shareef with that much time left only being down 2?

A positive from tonight: Much better effort overall keeping it close...just didn't go down in the end.

A negative to learn from: Turnovers are unacceptable. Neither are missed free throws.

Bench sucks, TOs unacceptable, and we couldn't get a rebound to save our lives in the fourth. *sigh* Wonder if Peja will be able to play tomorrow?

man... ****..... this team gets on my nerves sometimes.... most of the time this season...... where the **** was peja? 4 shots in the 2nd half? and he missed all of them..... how the hell did miller miss both of those freethrows? why the hell wasnt reef getting the ball? man... this team half asses it in the wrong half....

Before everyone starts ganging up on Peja, if you watched the game it might be a little bit clearer why he was ineffective in the 2nd half. He still managed to step up his rebounding and defense while he was in there.

did peja get hurt??
Let's just say that Danny Fortson slapped him on the hand that was already wrapped up and he had to sit out half of the 3rd qtr (which helped Ray Allen get hot because Kevin was guarding him).

peja not 1 f-ing point in the 2nd half.
Let's be fair...I don't think he could really shoot well after DFF smashed his sore hand. Peja scored a bunch of points, but if our bench throws away that kind of performance, you can't win.

No timeout when you are only down by 2 is unacceptable.

Another brilliant coaching job by Adelman. Regardless of Miller's free throws we still could win it and we didn't. Nice job....

Okay, calm down, Peja hurt his finger further. Unfortunate. He got 3 big boards that saved offensive possessions from the Sonics that would of pushed their lead further, at least.

Rashard was shut-down in the 2nd half, getting only 3 points.

Miller missing his FTs sucked. I just about died on that, as well as at the 1:06 mark with the Collison foul and 3 offensive boards prior.

Something has to be done about the bench - as in getting someone who can provide a spark. There ARE guys out there. Especially if it keeps up like it's been overall.

Don't understand why Adelman didn't call a TO, I had turned it off before that anyways.

Disappointing game.

About Peja: I am as critical of him as anyone on this board. I do not think it is fair or justified for people to try and blame him for this loss. When Fortson hit his finger, Peja just about passed out. He was in excruciating pain when Pete Youngman examined him on the bench, which leads me to believe the finger might have been temporarily dislocated - which hurts A LOT. (Once the finger is put back in, it often becomes numb..which is fine as far as the pain, but is really bad if you need it for anything...)

Peja came back in and he found ways to contribute. He even grabbed some boards and he was in constant motion, trying to find a way to get open or get inside.

Peja is NOT the scapegoat for this loss, if people need to find one.

Period.

Nice how you find a way to blame Adelman for that. You do know they only had ONE 20-second time out left at that time, right? Of course, that doesn't matter because Adelman should have used his time outs better, right?

That's just Adelman hate...
