Nice how you find a way to blame Adelman for that. You do know they only had ONE 20-second time out left at that time, right? Of course, that doesn't matter because Adelman should have used his time outs better, right?

That's just Adelman hate...
And they still have that 20 second time out left..... Not Adelman hate just reality.

I dont blame Peja for losing this game. The guy gave all his effort tonight and unfortunalty he got injured and still attempted to play. I really have to give the bench a bad grade on this except for Thomas. Jason hart really needs to step it up offensivly because i know he could play more offense then he has show. Kevin has no excuse to have 0 points. He didnt help on either sides. He turned it over a couple of times and let Ray Allen have a shootout.

Kings played pretty well for the most part.

The injury to Peja was unfortunate, and took some wind out of their sails.

But in crunch time, they couldn't get the boards and couldn't hit the shots. I didn't come away from this game thinking the Sonics were the better team, just that the Kings still have a ways to go.

Turnovers also didn't help. Many were completely unnecessary bad-decision type turnovers too.

And our reward for all of this? The Spur. :) We were so close to .500 too!

Agreed.

I just don't like our swing-depth at all...

I agree that a timeout should have been called, but that's one of those decisions that looks good if you win and looks bad if you don't. Not a determining factor in the game...we still got a decent shot.

Our bench, however, is worrying me more and more. We may see how big that problem is if Peja's play is limited due to his hand injury. Granted, no one can replace Peja's shooting, but right now we have NO ONE who is capable of giving us a scoring punch off the bench. Right now this is our biggest problem, and it will only get worse with injuries.

If he had taken the time out then, the Sonics would have had a chance to set up their defense better ...

But, what the heck. You're right. It's all Adelman's fault. He MADE the Kings miss boards, he MADE the bench suck big time again, etc.

ADELMAN SUCKS!

Pretty much the same here. We clearly do not have a spark (Bobby Jackson is in Memphis), we need to get someone, or, hopefully someone steps up.

Blaming this on Pedja's second half, overall turnovers or RA not calling last TO is way, way off. GP got us that bench and bench keeps getting us nothing. We should be blowing out this Sonics team if we had anything coming off the bench.

I think we will have to pick someone up. I don't see any of these guys stepping up because I don't think they have the ability to step up.

Typical...

Are you watching the post game show that's telling you they can "set up their defense"???

Every single coach that is worth anything would call the time out they had left. Seattle is the WORST defensive team in the Western Conf. so whatever they set up we should be able to shred. You work it inside out and set up the shot with that much time left. To continue to apologize for Adelman's deficiences is about as old as my railing on how poor of a coach he is in crunch time. Give it a rest and let us who don't like him as a coach have our say.

We're pretty much stuck with this bench unless we package off another starter (and getting real depth this time). That sucks though cause we'd just be bleeding more talent for questionable gain. No one on our bench has any value for trade. KT is the only consistent performer but players of his caliber are a dime of dozen and cost far less. No one will take him. We'll just have to hope the starters pick it up even more or Garcia is an early bloomer.

When have I ever NOT let you have your say?

Is it wrong to disagree with you, to point to other causes than simply blaming the coach?

Yes, I did watch the post-game and I agreed with the comment Kara made.

So "give it a rest" is totally unwarranted. You're having your say. I'm truly sorry for having the unmitigated gall to disagree with you. Feel free to continue to rant...

No we aren't.

Free-agency? There are a whole handful of players who could be brought in to provide depth and a spark. These guys wouldn't be expensive either.

Sprewell is out of our price range though. Same for a bunch of others.

ROFL at trading webber for nothing... Now we have the salary and basically the length of the contract just no webber!
should have just waived him and resigned darius and signed reef for mle..... who cares what team he goes to since its not ours..... let martin be our weak link and keep bobby..... we'd have bobby, garcia, barnes, darius and an unused ostertag coming off of the bench..... we wouldnt have lost to the hornets, knicks, denver and now the sonics......

but we have so much flexibility now with our bench scoring 9 ****ing points..... way to go team......

Well at least LA Kobes lost so we still "only suck as bad as they do"

getting desperate here.

Somebody call Spree !

Lost it compleately

I fine with RA NOT calling the timeout. If you watched closely Bonzi got the rebound off Allen's miss and pushed it up the floor like he should have. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything easy for Bonzi to do with it so they tried to reset the offense. There was plenty of time to get a good shot and Mike had a good look at it and was feeling it...He just hit a big 3. The BIGGEST problem with the Kings right now has nothing to do with the starting 5 or KT, who has played well the last two games. Biggest problem is the lack of a legitimate backup at the 2/3. Martin clearly can't cut it and besides Garcia there's really nobody for Adelman to turn to (Corliss couldn't have guarded Allen tonight, but then again neither did Martin). Clearly something has to be done with the 2/3 backup and the fact that GP tried to get Desmond Mason makes it evident that he thinks so to. Package a 2nd rd. pick and Martin or Garcia to Washington for Jarvis Hayes.

We're over the cap and unless we have an exception I'm not aware of, we're not signing anyone for nothing. Plus, there WERE a whole handful of players. All the cheap and good FAs have been picked up. I don't even have to see the current list to know it's full of junk that's either development league level or overpriced has-beens.

Absolutely. What I've been saying...

I don't know about a trade though. Hayes would be sweet.

Yea as of right now we really dont have a player of the bench that we can count on. Kenny Thomas and Martin are both very inconsistent. Hart just doesnt have any offensive game. Our bench makes a lot of mistakes.

I disagree on there being no players.

Also, what about the vet. min.? Obviously that can be used.
