We need to circle the wagon around our guys on Friday and Sunday. Just make alot of noise and give them all our support that Arco is known for.

Totally agree. As for potential "boobirds" - just flyaway. I understand being disappointed, but I do not understand booing. It is not the same thing, but as a teacher, I do not try to demoralize a struggling student, I try to encourge them. Again, I know it is not the same thing, but the principle is similiar. Then again, it could just be the fact that I grew up in South Carolina where manners are strictly adhered to. Who knows, but I hope ARCO is rockin' with cheers, NOT boos.

Look at the core we had, with a better coach we would've had a ring or two by now.

I'll say this again.....you need to sustain the intensity for 48 minutes not 12.

either way, props to the Sonics for taking advantage.

Or with some objective calls in a "famous" game 6 or a few made free throws in a "heartbreaking" game 7 we'd have a ring.

What did he do?

He didn't say one bad word about the Kings, not even why the reporter baited him when he asked him about Adelman saying how he should find a new career. James even praised the Kings for being very resilient.

Jerome used to play for us -- was drafted by us, taught by the coaching staff, used our practice facility etc. He's not family, but not far from it, and he always had the reputation of being easy going and a nice guy (maybe too easy going which was one of the reasons we apparently did not keep him around).

As I recall he was like 300 pounds when we cut him. He was way out of shape. He is looking good now though

got more production from fortson, vlad and collison tonight, that and James playing another great game

we are looking good. Now need to take care of business in arco.

I remember he was cut because he couldnt quit stuffing his pie hole. The Kings sent him to a fatman camp. He lost about 50 pounds but put about 20 back on. The team wanted him but with him not being able to keep hisweight in check they decided to cut him. It was the right decision at the time. Afterall, We were pretty deep at the time.

Thats what I recall anyway.

To be fair, you will not trying to take care of bussiness at Arco, you will be trying to steal one.

Basically yea, we will be looking to get one. I don't expect to us to win both. Kings are too good at home for us to sweep. I do think we will get maybe game 4. We have proved we can win anywhere this year.

I can definitely see you taking 1 game at arco.....if you do that.....the series is over in 5. Your team played well, Jerome James was great in both games.

Now....i'm not hating or anything....but either team Kings or Sonics will get bounced in the second round, book it, take it to the bank. Neither team can play playoff type Defense.

Oh, I'm not concerend about it not being the right decision at all. It obviously was -- James has been overpaid and underacheiving for years and years up there. He averaged 4.9pts and 3.0rebs this season and got paid $5-$6 million for it. We are making yet another big man look like a superstar in waiting, but that doesn't suddenly make James into a star we should never have let go of. Well, except against us of course.

Well, there is that blasted +1 thread in the lounge.

I predict we win these next to games at home. 2-2.

Steal the next on in Seattle. 3-2 Kings.

Lose next one.3-3.

Yes... a game 7. Guess who wins???

Go Kings!!!!

If we face the Spurs then yes, that might well happen but I fancy my chances against Denver with homecourt. But if we make the 2nd round I will consider that a very good season. Certainly alot better than I expected.

Yea that's right, Kings win in 7 with Peja stepping up, hitting the winning 3....

BEEP, BEEP, BEEP...... I hate it when the alarm clock wakes me up like that.

Nope. I believe there have been some over a thousand in a short period.

In general we've had some threads that have had over 10000.

My reply was more to other posts on James in General. Not you Brick.

That would be our excellent and all dominent defense that we are so good at playing. Like playing midgets on giants.;)
