Kings Sign Bobby Brown

No, Petrie hasn't sent a player to the D-League yet. I don't think he likes the fact that Kings' have very little say over how the coaches of the team use the player. The object of sending a player there is to help them learn how to better contribute to your team. If the coach there uses him differnently, then you don't gain anything other than minutes.

Maybe with the Kings now having a team in Reno, he will be more likely to use it.

Exactly my point. Except that I forgot to mention our new affiliation with the team in Reno. I think it has something to do with memory. Where do I buy more meg's of ram??

I saw most of Bobby Brown's home games for Alba Berlin last season. He was only supposed to be a back-up for Bosnian veteran PG Goran Jeretin, but moved up to be the starter, since Jeretin was out all season due to injury. Bobby is quite a bargain and might turn into a very valuable asset for the Kings. He can score, is very physical and above all, he's got heart. His natural basketball instincts helped navigate Alba Berlin to its first German title in 5 years. He's a good ball handler, does not commit a whole lot of turnovers, and he can fly! So congratulations, I think he might help you go above .500 in 2008/09.
