Of course Adelman gets his 800th win versus the Kings...
As for us, I think we've got a good coach and staff...leadership seems much better than last year. On paper, sure, not better...but I believe that this tulmutuous season proves that our
main problem is both culture and players.
A team can have a certain culture from a period of time, typically the result of players, leadership, et al. For example, you can have a culture of losing (pre-Horford Hawks), a culture of winning (cornerstone franchises), a culture of effort (Bickerstaff-era Bobcats), et al. IMO, it looks like we're stuck, and have been stuck, in a culture of defeatism...players give up easily, don't put forth full effort consistently, and blame other forces for their problems.
Now players... players can be moved (that is, unless they're called Kancer Thomas

). Culture is difficult to change, however. I think it's gonna take some massive rebuilding to really get to the b-ball culture that Petrie and the Maloofs appear to desire: a Kings team with great passing & shooting with an emphasis on consistent defensive effort. If you look at the team right now, player-by-player, very few personnel fit this vision.
Sure Theus & Co have made some mistakes, but I can tell you that I've enjoyed the product on the floor much more than what I saw with Musselman...and pre-Artest 2005 Adelman as well.
On a lighter note, I'm happy to see Adelman have success in Houston, and I hope the franchise can do well in the playoffs. Wouldn't that be a shame with this win-streak and momentum that they tanked in the first round again...
