Kings @ Rockets Game Thread

Kings @ 31-38 lost another one on the road to start a mini losing streak. The overall position won't change but we did screw the Grizzlies who caught up with Minnesota. We are 0-2 on the 3 game losing streak with one more to come in Houston

We finally saw the kids play more and we have seen that Grizzlies kids are better than ours except the fact that Hawes has potential to be very decent.

Ron is continuing to pick and chose games. Here is mine prediction for the rest of the season. He will have DNPs against Memphis, Seattle and will play most of the other games especially against the LA teams where he will play well. After all he has to rest for the title run.

L Wright played his first of not too many games for the Kings. Didn't matter. He is an upgraded version of KT but an upgrade version of garbage is still garbage.

We lost to Grizzlies again and I expected it. Too bad no one in Memphis saw it. If we continue to lose - couple more teams in the least will catch us and give us hope for the 10th pick. We actually played well enough to win but defended bad enough to lose.

Rockets are next and after wining 394 straight games they have lost 3 of the last 4. We match up well with them which we proved already since we were a Novak 3 away from kicking them out of the history books. They badly need to win and it should be a fun game

Rockets are in the middle of the PO run at 47-23 without Yao but they are still goo and they play very hard. They also have a better coach. TMac will play well if Ron doesn't play. TDM will go to Mutombo. LW-VC will go to battier. RA will show that he deserves his award. If Ron and Brad are playing - Kings win otherwise - not

According to the injury report in the "News Links" thread, Beno is supposed to go, Ron is not. Course, you never know with Ron. Brad is supposedly going to play, as well.

Then there would be no time for the kids at all.

I wish Ron and Brad would take off on a hunting/backpacking tour of Asia for the next month. Be better for the franchise on a number of fronts, not least of which we mght know by the end whether to go back out shopping for young Cs and PFs.

Beno actually doesn't have much to prove (to me at least) at this point, but he's the only one of the three where seeing more of him down the stretch makes much long term sense.

the whole starting cast. i'm strangely disappointed. was really looking forward to another spencer start.

in the glory days i would have loved to have all the starters healthy and playing together, yet it rarely happened. now...its like bizarro world.
