Calling Rudy out right away is ... not good.
As I said, I admit to being biased. In this case, I'm biased by Gorman's "I'm just here for the paycheck" attitude to calling Sun games. Also, Heinsohn is so bad that he's worth negative points.
He's like listening to an old drunk uncle shout nonsense in your living room.

Yea, he's in a league of his own.
And he's overstayed his welcome by about 10 years as a broadcaster. You would think people around here would still like him. That is not the case. Everyone is ready to move on.

The fact that they immediately declared him out for the game, doesn't bode well for the extent of the injury.

Bobby Jackson played while his mother battled breast cancer, a battle the wonderful lady eventually lost. Other players have done the same. I'm pretty sure Marcus would never use his mom as an excuse and I don't think anyone else should, either.

I mean 'out of the game'. It was only minutes between him going into the locker room and Grant reporting that he wouldn't return. I take that as a bad sign.
No, I was loud wrong on Portland, and this isn't the first time I've owned up to that. I doubt it will be the last. Napear and Reynolds are still terrible, though. I'll be wrong about Portland for the rest of the season, but I'll still be right about that.

Achilles injuries generally take a while to heal. Obviously it varies, but even if it isn't ruptured it could take weeks/months.
