I realise in order to trade Mike, he has to play. That's obvious. But eventually starting? And 30+ minutes a game? No.

Grant made a comment late in the 3rd that Theus is putting the projected starting 5 on the floor to see how they play. My question, was why are some players automatically assumed to start? Aren't the best players with the best rotation supposed to play? What makes Bibby, Artest, and Martin automatically starters? Seriously, if a certain team/lineup plays more competitive basketball without them, then why do they get to start? Yes, I realise it takes time to adjust, because they haven't taken the floor together this season, but they did take the floor together the majority of last year, and when they are on the floor, I see the same team I did last season.

Why can't they take the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach? And don't say because of money, because Theus made the call to bench KT, which I was all for, so if he can do that with KT making 8 mil, he can do that with other players.

IMO, Mike and Ron need to play limited minutes. Mike and Ron need to play the same (or less) minutes as Beno and Salmons, IMO. For all the fans that want this team in the playoffs this year: it isn't going to matter. They aren't making a title run, so this season is all about NEXT season. It should be about the youth and the players that made this team change. It should be about Hawes, Douby, Garcia and Williams getting at least 25 minutes a game, because the youth is the future, and the present season is meaningless.

This is a totally different team, and fans need to realise why. Theus has done a great job of making this team competitive, and motivating guys. Garica, Salmons, and Beno brought the team a new attitude this season, and the Kings need to move forward and not backwards. I don't see why Reggie has to force Ron and Mike into the starting lineup. This team has turned a corner for the better, and I don't see a reason why it has to turn back.

Things I learned from the Kings-Raptors game:

1. A pass-first PG opens up possibilities I couldn't even begin to imagine...until tonight.

2. Reggie Theus is probably going to be bald within days.

3. I should really have stocked up on the Peppermint Schnapps when I had the chance.

Ron is really disrupting the offense. Bibby has played in the flow of the game at least, but he hasn't really done anything that Beno can't do.

Terrible coaching tonight, double teaming chris freaking bosh on the catch down low? And then playing zone the whole game leaving everyone open, we cant play man to man against this team? All of them are spot shooters...

Anyway the players have to get used to each other AGAIN and im excited for the chemistry to get back to a good one.

i agree. i didn't think bibby was playing very selfishly at all. ron on the other hand...

I think its Justin time. and just in time too.

Naah, Justin and Dahntay are the guys rotating through the IL, remember?

We get Douby and Hawes instead. They may be worse, but if you don't play the guys Geoff drafted, you make him look bad. And nobody wants to make their boss look bad.

well Udrih and Salmons never even got in the game. Only lost by 25.

If we lose by 25 in Detroit - that won't be too bad

Enough is enough and its time for a change. Ron didnt look bad out there tonight, he looked like garbage, i know it seems harsh but jeez, hes only been out a few weeks, sometimes i think hes getting payed to make us lose.

Bibby looked pretty good for missing as many games as he did, Salmons didnt get many minutes and that kinda had me POd, it was just bad, not much more i can say about it.
