It is simple - we have way too many players on the court who mostly think about scoring. There isn't a Vlade or DC type of player out there who will be the spice for a good soup

It'd be interesting if someone made up a team of a dozen Joel Przybilla types -- get 85 rebounds, 15 blocks and 50 points a game. At least people would understand why a team like that would lose. With a dozen shooters, for some reason, few fans figure out what the problem is.

I don't think the problem is Bibby. I think the problem is the team dynamic. It's not gonna be an easy problem for Theus to solve...

How are the players not to blame when it's all perimeter shooting and no ball movement? Bibby = create space, launch a perimeter shot. How is that a 'team dynamic'? He can penetrate off the dribble, but he chooses not to anymore. He doesn't shoot so much because he has to, he chooses to. When the ball moves through Beno, Brad, and John, the team plays more team-oriented offense.

I simply do not agree with your assessment ESPECIALLY since this team is going to be trying for the next few games to find a new identity with the personnel now available. If you choose to disagree, fine, but yours isn't the only possible answer.

Wow, Toronto's big and PG went 11/14 in the first half, almost as if nobody was guarding them at all! Who'd have guessed?

bibby looks ok when he's shooting
ron looks lost

blah

I tend to agree more with your assessment. Artest is already falling into the old habit of "me, me, me" play. His natural instinct is to play one-on-one and I don't think that's gonna change. And IMHO it's going to hurt us more than it helps.

But this is a training game in a lot of respects. I do not envy Reggie Theus at all. No matter what he does, things aren't going to be as fluid and smooth as they have been because we have, in essence, three new pieces in the puzzle to try and fit in.

The shot chart is revolting. 14 3's taken, and only 6 FT's taken. The kings are getting away from what has made them competitive. Creating through the midrange game, getting into the lane, and playing team ball. They aren't getting to the lane, and are settling for jumpers. If they continue this, the game will be over by the end of the 3rd quarter.

I'm just calling it as I see it, and this was the same story before they were injured also. Before Salmons emerged this season, they played this style of ball last year, and I couldn't stand it. They already have established a new identiy with Salmons and Beno, as a young, energetic hustle team, so I don't see how they need to try to build a new one with Bibby and Artest since they won't be around next year anyway (I hope).

well if this type of play continues through the next several games...i would say petrie really will need to move bibbs and artest
