[Game] Kings @ Pacers, Saturday December 8, 4:00PT/7:00ET

Looks like another frustrating game vs the Pacers. Hopefully they fall ass backwards into a win like they did last Saturday.

Hopefully more guys start playing good in the second half.

I feel like we should be up by 5-7, and have no idea why we didn't take more time off the clock so they didn't have time to run down the court

Fox took the shot with about 1 second on the shot clock. Starting this year, on an offensive rebound the shot clock now goes to 14 instead of 24, but most people (and sometimes professional shot clock graphics) haven't quite caught up on that one yet.

Hopefully we’re in for the exact same game-script where WCS flounders around doing nothing until he dunks home the game winner!

I loved Collison acting like he'd just made the winning shot in game 7 of the finals at the end of the half. I think if Fox keeps up the speed, DC will be toast by the 3rd quarter.
The body language being displayed by both teams in this game is telling. I don't think the Pacers look all that threatening and the Kings don't seem to be all that threatened, some of this stuff is like their getting cute out there..... I expect to see a much more focused 2nd half, they most certainly had the opportunity to put their foot on their necks but balked.

I also think we will see Marvin put his fingerprints on this game like last night.

It's an interesting game because the Kings and Pacers are probably the closest match in terms of quality but play vastly different styles... really would love to see the Kings pull this one off... would show a lot about what this team is made of.

Dude! You're right. They are very similar. Never noticed that before.

I like the rotation much better in this one. If they are going to swap out someone after 5 minutes it's better to do it with Bogdan than Buddy because when he comes in he can play PG. Buddy is essentially a true SG so he can only sub into one spot.

The negative is again we see these long stretches where they struggle and I counted as many as 5 plays in a row where not a single pick and roll was run. This isn't a coincidence. Pick and roll is in the easiest way to force your team into playing a team play set.

This comment often draws ire but you're all familiar with the phrase "thats how the cookie crumbles"

some of these offensive rebounds are just bouncing their way. There's been some that absolutely should've been snared but there's also beeen a few where the pacers are getting fortuitous bounces.

Both teams are starting to get into that 2nd night of a back to back laziness stretch where the first good look is good enough.

"Both teams look tired right now"

not De'Aaron...

The way he transitions from offense to defense is just awesome. Fox isn't just raw speed, in fact his speed is super polished...he plays fast, he does EVERYTHING fast, thats something Coach Cal was all over him about.

Being at work for games gives me an anxiety because I can only check the score every five minutes or so. Judging off the box score, this seems strikingly similar to our previous game against Indiana?
