This is a great game for Monte to see. This shows that lack of another iso scorer and the effect it's had all year. Harrison is the only guy on the team that can create consistently that way and they'll need him tonight for sure. Mean Barnes, it's your time to shine.

This team might indeed be a Fox injury away from being play in fodder. The DHO setup is getting too predictable. Carlisle is sticking a guard on Sabonis up high and just simply switching the big back to him when he cuts to the rim.
Isn't that just true of basically every roster? Take all-star production off the court...That team crumbles from it's baseline.

Also, a potentially weird side-effect of us being so healthy this year is we don't have a lot of experience on HOW to play without Fox or Domas for 48 minutes. Easy to forget, but we're still basically a brand new roster in year 1 with Brown. There's not a whole lot of past experience to fall back on when you take out a major offensive cog.

Kings obviously have to learn to adjust because injuries will certainly happen every season and they've benefited greatly from positive injury variance thus far this year. But I'm willing to still be patient in terms of just knowing there's still a lot of "on-court time" and different lineup variations we have to go through.

We need a spark playmaker off the bench. A Bobby Jackson type. Then again, every team has needed a Bobby Jackson type since he retired.

I think Monk can fit that role too. HB's problem is he's just very willing to fade into the shadows and not overly assertive. And while Monk does get wild, I think he's pretty well cognizant if he has it going or not and will adjust his play based on if he's making shots or not.

Yeah, but the contenders have a little more depth that way. Leonard goes out and the Clipps don't fall off the face of the earth. This is the issue with really only have a 2 star team and where 1 of those is playing more of a passer/system role. They are running the system just fine, it's just that relief valve of De'Aaron Fox isn't there to get his.

Davion 0-3 from 3
Huerter 1-4 from 3
TD 1-3 from 3
Lyles 1- from 3
Domas 0-2 from 3

Delly 0-2 FGA
TD 1-4 FGA
Lyles 2-6 FGA
Davion 0-4 FGA

The spots we really needed to show up and fill the Fox void are...not doing it to say the least. Not entirely sure why we've stopped being a good 3pt shooting team in recent weeks but our entire offense is predicated on it; especially when Fox is off the floor.
