What a ridiculous foul called on Green... he didn't even touch him.
Yes, someone who is a not acareer scrub having 1 big game in search of a new contract.
Seriously, this means nothing.
Ike Diogu's shot is no fluke...he's just a good shooter. He's hustling out their too...he wants this game. Its impressing me more and more as we go on. I know its one game, but we've given Donte Greene more minutes this season and we haven't seen him do anything like this yet.
Ike Diogu tunrs into superstar 245 games into his 6pt 3reb NBA career? Somehow I have my doubts. Playing a hell of a game. But oyu don't give a guy a big contract because he played a good game for you once on a terrible team in April while searching for a constract.
I'm really tired of Francisco Garcia.
Brick, take a look at his game log for the last 4 years:

Yes his career numbers are not exciting, but look at the numbers he put up when he actually got to play. They're very respectable. The reason he hasn't gotten consistent playing time the past three years (because he actually got a lot his rookie season) is that he's been buried on different teams depth charts.

Thing is most players who get no time have similar blips -- the reason is simple. If they are having the rare "on" game, then they keep on playing and stacking up numbers. When they are their normal self, they just get quickly pulled and get no minutes.
he has also been a classic April superstar -- its an annual phenomenon that all around the league guys who aren't really that good will suddenly put up big numebrs come April when their teams are out of it and its kind fo the season's garbagetime.

I'm glad Garcia's not letting Smith get another record against this team.
Agreed. Classless dope.
lol classless? for going for a record at home, last game of the season, fan appreciation night, etc? jr was on fire! any player on the kings (or any team) does the same.
good game nonetheless.
no... ive never seen a player throw up shots like that in my entire life. I saw Ben Gordon hit the most in a row at 9 and he was totally in line. Jr Smith was being ridiculous.
He was showboating. Whatever occasion you want to throw out there, fan appreciation night or whatever, he was showboating. He wanted the record, and was looking to get it. I don't blame him for wanting a record, but that was blatant showboating.then we can just disagree. like i said, it was the emotion of the game, nuggets playing for a division, at home, in front of a loud crowd...everyone wanted him to shoot those.
I believe it was his left knee. Does anybody know which knee was operated on before? God, I'd hate to see if it was the same knee that had the microfracture surgery.is hawes alright? that is my main concern
i think he should sit out the next game and just work out this offseason but i give props to him and JT for holding down the front line as best as a 20 and 22 year old can
lets show em some love
