I have frankly never seen a player have type of effect on defense that I see Kessler having.

He comes in - the team gets stops. It's uncanny. It goes beyond just shutting down his man. The entire offense seems to be able "sense" him and you can watch decisions NOT being made to go in his direction - or the large space he takes up.

It's phenomenal. It reminds me of how an elite offensive player can "warp" the defense. He seems to be warping the opposing offense. I'm a massive fan.

Last few games, Kings have been having a Walton esque amount of half hearted and 1’s lately where they just tack on unnecessary contact on an easy basket.

they’ve actually been pretty good about that this season despite the defensive woes

I’ll take tie game after 1. Hopefully we keep things close and then turn it on at the end. Unless they are hitting 3s the nets aren’t really good.
