[Game] Kings @ Nets - 2/5/16 - 4:30 PT, 7:30 ET

I wonder if Vlade can ask Tony Brown if he wants to take over for Karl

He can ask Slamson for all I care. Sign Lady would be fine, too. Anybody with any passion/heart for the Kings. Hell, I'll do it...as long as they send a car.

Cousins and Collison lay their heart out for the team... the rest of the guys decide they don't want to show up... ok... what a big F U

If we cut marco today the spurs would pick him up tomorrow. And he would return to his former self.

You can say that about any other team really, not just San Antonio. They do make their players better than they are though, lots of system players.

The biggest misconception with this team is that getting individual defensive type players is going to solve anything. This is an overall scheme problem.

Can't it be both scheme and personnel? Watch our guards fight through screens on the pick and roll, watch the missed rotation on the perimeter, that's not system stuff. This was a predictable bad group of perimeter defenders. The hope was that Ben would step up and he didn't, besides Ben we were rolling out three guys not known for their defense. And before anyone starts Rondo hasn't played defense since the injuries and nothing has changed on that end this season.

Bogdonavic a career-high on made 3s, Nets' 3rd best franchise record in made 3s, John Johnson's season-high, Nets' season high...those are the ones I recall hearing.

Marco CONSTANTLY left his man for 0 reason.

I dunno.

Does it still go to Chicago? Someone out there will know!

Of course, with our luck, this is the year we get #1 in the lotto....Only to give it to Philly.

Lakers got the number one pick locked up...they need a new franchise player after Kobe is out.

Imagine how cool it would be seeing the 7ft serbian storming on the court, pointing and yelling at Karl "you out!!". Then fishing his phone out of his suit and we see him call someone. "Yo, Thibs, I'm going to make you an offer you can't refuse":D

Sounds like an effort issue.... coupled with a scheme issue.... coupled with a big dose of APATHY...

This is the kind of game that gets coaches fired

The kings don't fight through screens. They switch. and switch. and switch.......

Rondo has played decent enough defense with Boston (yes they had other guys, but it was the team defense that made them. Saw them live in '08 when they won the chip when they came to sac, amazing team defense and made me want Thibs).
Marco played decent ball with the Spurs, and nobody plays if they can't play some defense under Pop.
Collison was an above-average defender with the hornets, clippers, and pacers, but hasn't ever been consistent enough on both ends to merit starting.

Overall the biggest defensive liabilities have proven otherwise on teams not named the Kings.
