Probably because they aren't used to the Nets scoring so much, confusing them

Somehow we still don't take 3pt shooting seriously. That whole first quarter our players would start to close out and then hesitate half way there and end up doing nothing. If we're afraid of closing too hard and fouling than we shouldn't be 3 steps off them when the ball is one pass away.

Somehow we still don't take 3pt shooting seriously. That whole first quarter our players would start to close out and then hesitate half way there and end up doing nothing. If we're afraid of closing too hard and fouling than we shouldn't be 3 steps off them when the ball is one pass away.

I think there is an invisible 18 ft arc and when the defender gets to that point, he has to back up.

Terrible ass defense. Tell me why Rondo decides to try to swipe at Lopez, then decides to leave his man in order to double.. Lopez passes the ball out to Johnson, and this gives Rondo time to go back to find his man.. what does he do? Ball watches while guarding no one... smh
