Wasn't this game tied a few minutes ago?

If Malone really wants to win now he needs to change the starting lineup. We have lost several games with this starting lineup. I am starting to feel like this is by design. My opinion is he knows by leaving IT as the starter it will cause the offense to become stagnant and have off games. If He simply moves Ray to a starter who isn't looking for his shot, and IT to the bench this was t would make the team much better.

I don't know for sure either. But Kings have Evans for these last 20 or so games (time to look at it) plus signed through next season.
Time to look at what? In a best-case scenario, none of the power forwards we currently have under contract will be starting next season, and no more than half of them will actually still be here. Evans is not a young asset, that needs to be developed; we don't have to "look at" what we have with him, because
  1. We already know what we have with Evans, and
  2. He's still under contract.
It just seems too much like change for change's sake, to me. I don't believe that starting Evans, at this point in the season, is going to actually help anybody; not only do I think that it's not going to make anybody more productive, but there's a non-zero chance that it could make the guy starting now less productive.

Those of us who don't appreciate IT just don't know NBA basketball.
I appreciate him, but with having great players like Cousins and Gay on the court makes it so we don't need an ultra offense point guard, that for some reason can't stay in front of people with his quickness. We need a point guard that can defend and distribute to Cousins and Gay. He would be great off the bench being the first or second option.

Whoosh. Glenn forgot to add the [sacrasm] tag.

So far, this season, we've been burned by Tyreke Evans, Spencer Hawes, Kevin Martin, Omri Casspi, Patrick Patterson and Marcus Thornton. Nice to know some things never change.

Malone always says its all about defense.... Then why doesn't he start OJ and Ray. Because if it is all about defense those two are definitely much better defenders then IT and Ben....

Why in the world would we want to win now?

I totally agree. But Malone keeps saying it kills him to his core not to try to win every game. But His actions and substitution patterns show he might be trying to tank. The thing is if Malone is trying to tank. Then this becomes a fine line if we lose Rudy to free agency and lose respect of his players in the locker room.

Why in the world would any of you want to lose? is that some sort of proven,
successful formula? Please.

Yea, lets continue the losing culture. yay

Winning a few extra games this year won't have anything to do with next season. Might not even be the same players, so how is winning an extra 4-5 games this season going to help end the losing culture?

Jimmer is gonna drop 50 on us if Thibs plays him
Luckily Tibbs values defence and won't play you if you don't defend unlike our coach who talk's about defence and plays the players who consistantly do the exact opposite.
