I don't know if this happens often, but different assistant coaches are talking to different players during the break. I hated that when I saw it last year and it quite frankly puzzles me why it's happening now. But perhaps it's just nothing...

It was Artest, Artest, Artest, and then when he realizes there's nothing he puts out a very weak pass intended for Miller but stolen and run out by STackhouse for two more freaking points.

Kings ball. Not sure what happened but Malik Allen was called for foul on Brad and then Allen was called for the technical. Avery looks furious and so does Dirk. Hawes out, Garcia in.

And another crap pass by the Kings gives the ball right back to the Mavs. Dirk miss; Miller rebound.

On the last three attempt by Stackhouse, Garcia clearly missed his defensive assignment and ended up FLYING cross the court once again trying to block the shot. Luckily he didn't hit Stack this time.

Beno takes the ball away from Kidd, is almost tripped, goes coast-to-coast, weaves through the Mavs defense, gets the bucket despite the hard foul and heads to the line. BOnus miss.

Grant and Jerry make the point that if we had seen this kind of effort in every game on the road trip we might have seen much different results. Gotta agree. They may not win but at least the heart and hustle appeared to be back.
