piksi is off doing something ... I think he said he was moving ... so we don't have a introduction for our game discussion thread. After the past couple of games, however, I have to trust that it was kismet that he not be available.
Our piksi would not be happy... I mean, he REALLY would not be happy ... and I cannot say that I would blame him.
I won't attempt to do the awards from the past game as I firmly believe that game should forever be scrubbed from our memories. In fact, if at all possible, I would like the beams radiating out from the earth towards the far reaches of the universe to be intercepted and destroyed. Nobody needs to see that game ever again... unless, of course, it's Reggie Theus. (But I won't elaborate on that; I'm sure everyone reading this can "hear" what piksi would be saying about it.)
Dallas comes into Arco tonight with a big chip on their shoulders. They led most of last night against the Lakers, with Mark Cuban sitting in Staples with that smug look on his face. When the home team kicked it up a notch and made the mavericks look more like the Clippers (or, unfortunately, us) I'm pretty sure the look on Cuban's face changed drastically.
The plane ride from LA to Sacramento late last night can not have been pleasant and I'm quite sure Dirk Nowitzki and his crew will be out looking for blood tonight. I had originally planned on going to tongiht's game but I'm glad my plans didn't work out. The thought of seeing #41 pumping his fist at the home crowd is bad enough; being there is person might well have given me an all-expenses-paid vacation in the special little room under Arco.
At this point, I really don't know if I'll do the PBP. Either way, GO KINGS!!!
