Kings @ Hornets Game Thread

Kings might actually have a chance tonight. BUT... the only thing that scares me is that there is no Artest to guard Peja. Plus it's their home opener. YIKES! 105-91 Kings lose :(
Let's not pretend that it takes a lockdown defender to contain Stojakovic... I'd be more concerned about who's going to contain Jackson, or who's going to keep Chandler off the boards.

Aren't the Kings lucky? Besides starting the season on the road 4 years straight (not fair:mad:).....

The Kings played the Hornets at their very emotional season opener in Oklahoma City. Tonight they get to play the Hornets on their likely very emotional home opener in their return to New Orleans. The scheduling gods must hate the Kings.:(

I MISSED YOU PIKSI!! Now I KNOW the season is here!

I am bummed that I did not get tickets for the game this year, but at least I have you guys to keep me company AND I get to watch the game on our local station. Actually, I watch the tv on mute part of the time and liten online. You guys fuss about Grant, but our guys make him sound awesome!

GO KINGS

Oh great. One of our dancers doesn't even know enough about the team to know who Chris Webber is/was? Instead of making you feel old, it should have made her feel incredibly stupid. Without pointing any fingers or naming any names, perhaps the incredibly stupid boat had already sailed? ;)

Geez.

Yup. Don't mean to bag on the dancers, but they are paid to be.... well... dancers. Not savvy Kings fans in the slightest.

Ditto Geez.

it is seldom full there

I know. It is rarely full when I go. I was just hoping (more for the city than anything) that we would show up more. If I could have gotten off work earlier, I would have gone. Its always fun to be a lone Kings fan surrounded by the home team!!

I just keep saying that we are without Bibby and Artest. Sadly, it really doesn't make me feel that much better. Second half will be better.
