It's not the coach's fault we've had more turnovers than field goals. Yes, his substitution patterns are somewhat unorthodox but he was trying - I think - to find a combination, any combination, that wouldn't look like kids dressed up for Halloween as Kings players.

He waited untill 3:35 left int he second to put Thompson back in the game just because he had two fouls.. thats brutal.. He took Martin out at all the wrong times. SPencer was our best player in the first quarter and he Took him out and kept Mikki in there instead of playing JT and spencer at the same time..
I cant wait for the FIRE REGGIE THEUS THREAD..

Well I am definitely a patient fan. I know all about the rebuilding thing, as my favorite football team is the Chiefs. Yikes... I still do my fair share of yelling at the TV though. haha. My positive there is at least the one game I went to in KC is the only game they've won. LOL. I guess my point is, as a fan, all of this losing is the low point for me and I can handle it. It can only get better beyond 2008/2009 for my Kings and Chiefs.

how can you blame this on the coach?? We flat out played horribly .. PLAYED horribly .. I wish reggie was out there. Kmart is starting to scare me, defenses are really focussing on him this year and he has struggled thus far ..
Thompson and Hawes look very good offensively and Rebounding, but there D isnt there yet, when you have dwade blowing by the D every time they need to help out somehow

Ummm spencer was in foul trouble. Martin has been awful and im glad reggie took his arse out.

Yeah, this stinks but let's be rational. There isnt a coach in the history of basketball that could take this young team and win anywhere near as much as they will lose. We are a young team. Yeah, the first half was embarrassing, but the highs are never as good as we think and the lows are never as bad as we think.

Thompson once again outrebounding Moore despite playing half as many minutes, and is one of the few Kings without a TO. If rebounding is so important to Theus, why is Moore getting more minutes than Thompson?

There are plenty European players good enough for the NBA that someone needs to take a look at. Also Russian and Greek teams are paying a lot too

But there is a coach out that will play Thompson more then 6 minutes in the first half... thats all that needs to be said.

I don't think that Theuss is the right coach for this team right now. They need a teacher and the authority that he doesn't have.
I am still asking the same question - how is it possible that a team after 1 month of training camp look like they never played together.

Well I wont argue with you there. If we are going to stink it up for a year, the only way the future can get better is at least stink it up by starting all of the young guys. No point in starting guys like Mikki, who have no future here and wont help us win this year anyway.

I was just thinking : "We need a point guard".
When Brad gets back it'll be easier for Salmons and Martin to get shots. Hawes is showing good energy but the Heat are being much more aggressive defending him and he's forcing it in the post now. If he can come off the bench or play with Brad he'll get easier looks as well.
This game is uuuuuugly.

Wow. < 40 pts nearing the end of the 3rd quarter against a team that was far from being known as a defensive pest. I struggle to think of the possibilities against better defensive teams...

Too bad Spencer had to nfinally hit that shot -- thought there was a good chance there for them to double us up at 76-38. They actually would have if they could just hit a FT.
