Game is at 6 pm ET which means that Kings have a
chance to lose 2 games inside 24 hrs making it the quickest
losing streak ever.
-------------------------------------------------------------
On January 22nd 2004 Kings won in Cleveland 95 - 89 to
improve to 30 -10 at this point of the season. Pedja lead
the Kings with 37/10. Vlade had 13/9/9, brad 8/15/4, DC
had 11/3/7/4, Mike had 12/5/5. Bobby had 11 /3 of the bench.
Kings shot 6-16 for three.

Sparked by Stojakovic, the Kings shot a blistering 74 percent
(14-of-19) in the third quarter after shooting 36 percent
(16-of-44) in the opening half.

Bibby had 12 points and Doug Christie and Bobby Jackson 11 each
for Sacramento, which improved to 9-7 on the road. The Kings
are an NBA-best 21-3 at home.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Kings 17 - 22 , after watching the hard earned 3 games winning
streak being flushed down the toilet. 0-1 on the road trip -
going strongly on 0-2. Things are happening quickly because
Kings will have less than 24 hrs to "recover" before playing
the Heat. Momentum is gone and there is a strong possibility of
a snowballing effect trough this trip.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Bad teams find the way to lose. Even if it isn't there. We used
to laugh at them for years (as recently as the Lakers on
Thursday). Guess what - we are there. It is even more pathetic
when You have 2 bad teams and neither one of them really
"wants" to win the particular game.
Happenes for many reasons. Lack of talent would be the main one.
Lack of leadership - starting from coaching stuff down.
No confidence and no trust belong there too. Finally, lack of
experience also plays a big role. Kings have no excuses for
that. It is hard to understand why a team with so many veterans
and a experienced coaching stuff it "wasting" games like that.
--------------------------------------------------------------
When 2 bad teams are playing - there are many ways to find out
about it.When You have a score of 83-78 and You needed a
overtime for it You are not very good especially considering
that neither team plays good defense. If one third of your
shots is "long range" despite not being able to hit any -
You are not that good either. If Your assist/turnover
ratio is 1 (17/17) - You are probably not very good
either. If Your opponent's bench scores 2 pts and You
still manage to lose - You suck.
-------------------------------------------------------------
A week ago we tried to lose to Magic who also missed some
players but we couldn't. Tonight, after they were missing
some more players tonight - we finally did. We managed to
score 9 pts in the 3rd quarter, 24 in the 2nd half and 28
if we add overtime. That is hard to do. Magic really did
not do much. They just sucked less when it mattered the most
They did make sure that Mike doesn't beat them again and
it worked. Seams like Kingd need some kind of career night
from someone just to win a game. Hedo was good. not good
enough for TDM award but good enough for us tonight.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Tonight/tomorow afternoon we play Heat and things are not
looking good there. Considering that Mike doesn't look too
healthy we have 4 starters who are nowhere near 100 %
phisically. We play a team that is a matchup nightmare.
In order for us to win - we would have to shoot like crazy
and it doesn't look that way. Shaq/Zo will cause us all sorts
of troubles on both ends of the court. Wade is not kobe but
he has Shaq which makes him more dangerous. We will need career
games again and I am kinda afraid that we are running out of
them
---------------------------------------------------------------
Mike - if he is hurting maybe a good time to give him a break.
Always interesting when he plays JWill
Brad - Good luck tomorow. He needs to shoot like crazy
and lot for us to have a chance.
Pedja - 4-16 is just not enough. So many of those were fairly
open shots. Yes, he has been doing other things but 14 pts of
16 shots is not going to do it. He played 41 minutes even
though he is clearly not fit enough for it.
SAR - he is giving us all he can at the moment.
Bonzi - is he ever coming back ?
--------------------------------------------------------------
Martin - played 7 minutes less than J Hart WTF ?
Garcia - good effort in ONLY 19 minutes.
J Hart - proves yet again that You can get more playing time
by sucking
KT - 4 pts 1 rb and 9 assists shy of his 2nd career tripple
double. Smart technical to spot magic a point in a close
game:rolleyes:
The rest - DNP - CD and no one knows why
---------------------------------------------------------------
RA never stops to amaze people. Despite all of that - he
will survive the season.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Heat lost at home to spurs - so they will be looking for blod.
Wade is apparently injured. TDM award favorites are kapono and
good old Shandon Anderson. Everyone else that might play
doesn't qualify. (if we get killed by Doleac of Fitch that
would ...)
------------------------------------------------------------
We might not be any good but we did beat the Lakers
ouble

That sums up the game vs orlando PERFECTLY, seriously...

Even though I'll get called insane for this, I say we win vs the heat! Shaq is bad defensively and not the great at rebounding anymore himself and wade messed his ankles and thighs up vs SA. As long as we can keep Kapono, Posey, and Doleac in check we'll be fine.

Adelman is out there now, i dont know what is going on his head, but i just hope he can see things up, maybe bring back Cisco into the starting line up....

OK. I am going to go against what my head says and follow my heart. I say that we are going to win today.

PLEASE, let my heart be right for once!!!

Also, I just got to listen to game last night. In what way did Mike look hurt?

I can't believe we had 2 great wins and then there was last night.:( it just makes no sense to me. Well without Dwayne we stand a much better chance, is he definitely out? He played some against the Spurs.

Didn't get a chance to watch the game ... ;)

... seems to me THE WHOLE TEAM DISAPPEARED in the 2nd half

.... what was up with ALL THE AIR BALLS ???

Let's get back on course in Miami this afternoon ...

First off, whats wrong with Dwayne? If he's out thats definatly VERY good for us, as he could easily have a career game against us.

And...

TDM = Jason Kapono: See comments I made about Travis Deiner.

I expect Zo' to have a huge game, grabbing every rebound in sight and rejecting about 7 shots.

Despite that, I say we win as long as Antione Walker puts up his more usuall line of 9 points on 3-11 shooting...If he has one of his games where he goes off for 29 points and grabs 11 rebounds and shoots a high percentage, I think were toast.

We can win. Really, we can!!

I want to see a good, competative game.
I want Brad to give Shaq problems and I want Mike to run the team the way I know he can. Hopefully, Peja will find his shooting game again. The Kids need to have another good outing. KT needs a great rebounding game. I hope Reef's jaw does not hurt too much when he plays.

GO KINGS!!

Keys to success:
Bibby HAS to out score JWill (there will be no D on either end out of these guys)
Martin (asuming he gets the start) Just hang and try not to foul out, then on D MAKE Wade work!
Pedja... show up if not RA bring in help fast!
Kenny... Go inside and try to get the fat man in foul trouble!
Brad... Make Shaq come out of the paint and most importantly see if you can get him to take a swing at you agin!
