[Game] Kings @ Hawks 2/22/13

This game was lost in the 4th quarter, when DMC and IT were off the court, and Tyreke was running the team. It was his show the entire critical section of the 4th, and he monumentally failed to do anything with the team.
It's amazing what KF's will excuse him of. Multiple people actually thought he may be just waiting to get off this crappy team, and they're OK with that kind of crappy effort that lost the game. (?!)
If he was something special in this league, he would have taken the ball and done something with it.
Does a star need some special magic from his coach to allow him to lead a team and be effective in crunchtime?
If Tyreke was who KF's think he is, he would have done SOMEthing to suggest he has any kind of competitive streak, and drive to win.
This game dramatically showed he lacks the inner fire it takes to become great at the game and lead a team to victory.

No, the game was lost because the Kings allowed the Hawks to shoot 53% and 44% from 3. We were also -9 in TO. That's really where the game was lost when we get down to it.

However, if we're picking at Reke, at that point, if I'm not mistaken, he was playing the entire second half w/o a rest. He was also on the floor, alone, with Chuck, Outlaw, a non-existent MT and a cold JT. Wow, what a great way to set up Reke for success.

What the hell are people talking about, with IT not distributing the ball or setting anyone up?

Y'all are apparently unaware that he got NINE assists this game.

Go ahead - check the boxscore.
I'll wait.

Oh, you're all just going to ignore it?
It means nothing, and won't change your delusional approach towards IT?

Not surprised.

Keep on ignoring any detail that doesn;t match with your perceptions, KF's.

I'd hate to see what stats it would take to get an A game from him if this doesn't....

What I'm aware of is that there is a vocal minority of people who conflate having their opinions attacked with being attacked personally. I'd like to see evidence to the contrary.
Pot meet kettle. You're the biggest crybaby on this board by the way.

Here ya go, slimcitrus.

edit: added
Okay, now that's a personal attack. Stop. Two wrongs, and all of that.
(Wait a minute - you're EQUIVOCATING?!?!
I haven't personally attacked ANYONE here. Don't you dare say I have!)

So you say that 3 minute span when Tyreke was on the court without DeMarcus and IT the game was lost? Ya, you clearly are the one who has not lost his objectivity.

Summary in 3 minutes: Hawks +3 points
Travis Outlaw 1/3 2 for 2 points
Tyreke Evans 0/2 for 2 points.
3 Rebounds (2 Offensive)
1 Assist

Chuck Hayes 0/1

Except, it actually does match perceptions: Isaiah Thomas is averaging nearly 3 shot attempts per assist. Which wouldn't be a bad thing, if it weren't for the fact that Isaiah Thomas is, at least ostensibly, a point guard. Three shot attempts per assist is Iverson territory.

Er, what I actually said was that your behavior doesn't give him license to call you names; I didn't actually accuse you of name calling. At least, not today.

You said, and I quoted, "Two wrongs" (don't make a right).

That is SAYING that I was wrong, like he is wrong, in personally attacking.
Direct comparison in your quote.

Also - this thread is not an IT or Kings season-long thread.
It is about THIS GAME.
And IT got 9 assists this game, and 30 points on 18 shots. And the last 4 of those shots were from his own rebounds and he was open and there was NO other option going on the floor.

It'd be nice just for people to occasionally say, "Hey - great game, IT!"
Cause that's really about all there is to say about his game tonight.

You were wrong; you just weren't wrong (whining) in exactly the same way that he was wrong (name-calling).

This is a privately-owned fan board. We're under no obligation to be "fair and balanced," or provide "equal time" to whatever player is not getting the love you feel he deserves. Okay, so Thomas had a good game, and some posters choose to not just look at the game in a vacuum, but rather, within the context of the whole season. You can either shrug your shoulders and shake your head at what you perceive to be their "ignorance," or you can ***** about it.

It seems, at times, as if you've decided that you're going to tell everybody how much Evans sucks, on an infinite loop, until they change their minds about Thomas. And, to a third-party observer, you come off as looking like you're throwing an e-fit whenever people won't capitulate on their opinions. Now, I'm not going to say that that makes you a crybaby, but I am going to say that that behavior seems rather crybaby-ish.

Really?
You're unaware?

Go read my posting history over the years.
If you actually cared to stop personal attacks, I'd quote you exact threads and posts where personal attacks are allowed against anyone who doesn;t agree with the KF's hegemony on player assessments.

It's why I hardly bother to post anymore.
That, and the Kings have sucked almost all interest in the team from me.

And everyday I thank the Lord for that.

What? Why would you want to see him perform bad? He worked on improving his shot and it's actually getting better, wouldn't you want he to get better and have more confidence in his shot?

What does making a bet have to do with me wanting him to do bad? Stop being so simple minded. The bet is separate from my love of the team. I'd love for him to end up at 40% and prove me wrong but I know that won't happen.
