[Game] Kings @ Hawks 2/22/13

Just got back from the gym. Judging by the comments, our usual 2nd quarter give up the lead because our coach likes to do line changes schtick?

More or less: Smart has no concept of momentum, and had Fredette guarding Teague just long enough for Teague to get his confidence.

the more i watch Jason Thompson fumble and bumble around out there, the more i look forward to Patterson in the starting lineup
That's what people said when we traded for Landry. And again, when we traded for Dalembert. And again, when we traded for Hickson. And, yet again, when we drafted Robinson. Any yet, here he still is. So, I wouldn't hold your breath, if I were you.

What's there to say? He's doing what most of the "haters" said that he wasn't doing before. He's playing very well.
That said, I didn't know there was anyone on the MSE payroll who did a more thorough "brass polishing" job on Thomas than Napear. But, that was apparently only because I hadn't heard Jason Ross do play-by-play since he got drafted.

I'm actually not happy at all with our second quarter. Our offense was just guys jacking up shots without running any offense whatsoever. It's all good when the shots are falling, but once they stop falling you're going to be in for a rough night. We don't make a consistent effort to get the ball in the post first or run proper pick and rolls or anything. We just dribble around and first guy to dare to shoot a 3 wins

lol. well id till rather have Dalembert out there. and if we had a competent coach, the Hickson thing probably would have worked out

Our halftime productions would be REALLY nice if they only happened every month or so. I think they overdo it a bit with the history and visiting of players home towns. Anyone consistently watch other teams half time features? What do they do during them? I think most do NBA roundups about what's going on in the other games for the night.

Yea, second quarter was a bit of a mess. I am VERY happy though with how our main guys are playing. They looked very good when out there together.

Tyreke has been helping off on D too much. Had two threes hit over him cheating off in the second, looks like he was cheating again just there.

IT passing much better tonight, only has forced two iso plays that I can remember and one was to finish out the clock.

Sigh ... why can't IT ever just pass the ball to Cuz in the post? Why does he always have to get cute and drive?

Isaiah has a habbit of not even looking at DeMarcus on pick n rolls, he just turns the corner and heads for the hoop

Tyreke does it too. I think our guys don't know where the rest of the team is gonna be. The guy sitting in the corner isn't always their like every other team.
