Don't Make Me Use The Bat
This ain't pretty:
1) we are a bad rebounding team (-4.4 a game)
2) this is depsite the presence of Bonzi at OG, who is turning in a remarkable performance for an OG on the glass
3) Here's how that happens:
Through 8 Games
Starters
Brad 6.4rebs in 34.5min = 8.9/48 (Ranked 64th of 87 Cs)
Reef 8.3rebs in 34.6min = 11.4/48 (Ranked 58th of 118 PFs)
Peja 4.4rebs in 38.1min = 5.5/48 (Ranked 68th of 82 SFs)
Reserves
Skinner 6.7/48 (Ranked 83rd of 87 Cs).
Kenny 13.4/48 (Ranked 28th of 118 PFs)
Garcia 5.6/48 (Ranked 64th of 82 SFs)
Corliss 4.8/48 (Ranked 114th of 118 PFs or 74th of 82 SFs).
So of our ENTIRE frontcourt, starters and reserves, the only player who is even above average is Kenny Thomas, who is struggling in other areas. The starters aren't rebounding. Peja is on a pace very similar to last year. Brad is far FAR below his career 13.0/48 average, and their backups aren't doing any better and thus aren't offering any alternatives.
All of the ugliness above is offset by one solitary birght spot for the Kings on the glass:
Bonzi 7.8 in 32.4 = 11.5/48 (Ranked 4th of 111 OGs)
But can he keep it up? He's way over his career 8.5/48.
