Pick who you think should be inducted next (and comments or a brief summary of the player would be helpful)

Looks like Reggie Theus may end up the winner. Does anyone have any words or a summary of his tenure in Sac?

Six more days and Mitch is now in the lead... can anyone make some comments on Mitch's contributions to Sac or why you voted for him?

I will NOT vote for Mitch Richmond because, at the end, he had nothing good to say about us or the franchise. But that argument is for another day...and has been made repeatedly, like when his jersey was retired.

As far as Reggie Theus goes, he wore the same number Bobby Jackson sports now and there are a lot of similarities. Theus was an explosive guard, a free-wheeling scoring machine with the added bonus of having excellent passing skills. He was fun to watch and brought a lot of excitement to the team while he was here. He was very active in the community and was an excellent spokesman for the team when they first arrived. He was traded away for a first-round draft pick on Draft Day, 1988. With that pick, the Kings selected Ricky Berry. Berry played only one year for the Kings. He killed himself in August, 1989.

Unless a bunch more votes come in, looks like Mitch Richmond will be the next inductee... does anyone have any comments, acheivement or anything to say about Richmond?

So does that mean Reggie isn't going to get in?

No, I plan to run a new Hall of Fame inductee #4 poll soon and Reggie Theus will be on that poll, I am confident he will eventually get in. No worries. Speaking of the next poll, other than Reggie Theus, who should be in the next nomination group (4 total)? Any ideas?

Looks like Mitch is a lock to be inducted. Does anyone have any comments they would like to make about him for my Hall of Fame blurb?

Considering that's the third time you've asked and nobody has responded, I'd guess the answer is, "No." ;)

NoBonus - You might want to consider making the next poll public. Then you can call on one of the people who have voted for the person to make some comments about it.

;)
