Kings fans going to Feb. 20 Clippers game

Well folks, our plans are pretty much finished for our group of KingsFans SoCal Chapter to attend the Clippers game on Saturday night 20 February at the Staples Center in downtown LA. EVERYONE WHO PAID FOR TICKETS CAN PICK THEM UP AT THE ESPN ZONE across the street from the main Staples Center entrance beginning at 5:30pm Saturday the 20th. Game starts at Staples at 7:30pm.

We have 28 paid fans so far and a list of great goodies to help our presence at Staples in support of our Kings including:

A new 10 ft banner (shown below) to announce our presence on both Kings TV and Clippers TV in LA. Click on the image for full size banner.



20 Kings T-shirts (all XL i'm afraid) available on first-come, first-serve basis that will be passed out at the ESPN ZONE, our official meeting place directly across the street from the main Staples Center entrance.

Bam Bams (Thunder Sticks) for everyone to raise our own ruckus.

Cow Bells!!! Only 4 small ones but maybe a couple more bigger ones if they can be found.

6-7 signs, some pom-poms and other fun stuff.


WE HAVE TO BE IN OUR SEATS 30-40 MINUTES BEFORE GAME TIME TO GET LEAD TO THE KINGS ENTRY TUNNEL TO FORM A "HIGH FIVE" TUNNEL OF ALL US KINGS FANS!!!!

For those who might want to carpool to the Clippers game 2/20 at Staples Center in downtown LA, here is an updated list of all those who have bought tickets as of 2/10/10 (click on list to get bigger view):



Since most of us won't know each other we are making up stick-on name tags with our KingsFans.com handles: CruzDude, Mrs. CruzDude, bajaden, etc. You'll get these at ESPN Zone game night.

I really hope that Landry and all of our new players will be suiting up and playing for this game. I'd love to be able to show these new Kings how much fan support they have by giving them a huge welcome in the tunnel for their 1st game, on the road no less.

Hopefully the team will be cohesive enough to play competitively, as I'd hate to be there and see a repeat of what just took place against the Warriors.

WELL KINGSFANS, the time has come for our show of support this Saturday. Additional signs are made, but feel free to bring your own, T-shirts updated for everyone, and our Banner looks fabulous!!

For everyone who bought a ticket for the Clips game at Staples Center, be sure to bring a photo ID with you when you pickup tickets at the ESPN Zone across the street from the main entrance to Staples. It is the only way I can know who is who.

The Super CruzDuide arranged group tickets for us at $54 per seat. A great deal and we're getting goodies!

Well KingsFans, the day is upon us. The Pioneers of KingsFans.com are off and running. We've even added an award for one lucky KingsFan. It will be given out at ESPN Zone before the game.

We have to be in the arena at 6:45pm to meet the coordinator of our High Five Tunnel for the Kings as they come onto the court. I'm afraid they will have us do our tunnel when the Kings come out for warmups and not for game intros.

BTW any of you with an iPhone or iPod Touch you can now download a "COW BELL" app!! Yep, for 99¢ I now have a cowbell sound on my iPhone. Loud enough for bar crowd but not for an arena but WTH!!

Any last minute items, you call me on my cell phone (858) 353-7858. Our group will be at ESPN Zone around 4:30-5:00. Tickets are two rows (16 & 17) of 13 each in section 106 and will be given out first come first served.

i saw that you said your sitting in the lower level sec 106 row 16ish.... do you know if thats on the teams side or across the court? or which bench you'll be closest too?
