How petty is Fox? He unfollowed Sabonis on IG, someone called him out on it, and he has his typical passive aggressive response. Well apparently word got around to Sabonis and he just unfollowed him back. Social media drama![]()

The goal next year, and the years after that (at least till 2031, when Spurs have swap rights with us), should be to win, and win as much as possible. If Monte gets fired it's probably because he didn't re-work fast enough. I don't know what Vivek's head is at. We just fired the head coach and traded the star player, I will be honest it's hard not to put some of that on the GM's head. Maybe the org is fine blaming Fox for everything (and maybe that is actually where the blame lays). But it's really hard to figure out what next, I just wonder what the goal is for 25-26. Nothing has ever led me to think Vivek will reset.
I’m sure I’m just missing the answer but are picks protected post lottery? For example if the Kings finish at 13 does that automatically convey to Atlanta? Or do we still hold rights if it jumps into the top 4?
yikes that swap in 31 can potentially be a disaster since Sac will likely be in the lottery
31 is so far away that Wemby will probably have been traded to the Lakers by then.yikes that swap in 31 can potentially be a disaster since Sac will likely be in the lottery

Why would we be in the lottery one year after winning consecutive championships?
And exactly how have you jumped to that conclusion if we're gonna be hanging 7 banners before that swap even comes into play?yikes that swap in 31 can potentially be a disaster since Sac will likely be in the lottery

Also the fact we also have the TWolves unprotected pick in 2031 makes the swap with the Spurs relatively painless that season. They’re also in “star player might be off the team by then” territory.
Van Gundy ran him into the ground.Or retired from injury.
Yao Ming had 3 good years, rookie to year 3 starting at 22 years old. At 25 the injuries started and he was done at 29.
Ralph Sampson started at 23 had 3 good seasons till injuries started. Was basically done at 28 years old.
Greg Odin - no explanation needed.
Embiid - Never played over 68 games in a season, at 29 played 39 games last year.

This is one thing I do respect about Monte. Over the past two years I’m sure he’s seen the writing on the wall with Fox. And then at this deadline clearly he was in a save his job scenario. Through it all, the worst we can say is he’s sacrificed some second round picks and the pick swap. He could have really screwed over the franchise with a terrible swing the fences trade by blowing our next half decade of FRPs.And since Monte didn't blast his own picks in any more win now with middling moves the Kings have all their own picks that matter. That's how you build anyway. You always want to control your own destiny.
I don't play that game. And neither should you.play-in banners?

I believe we're both playing two completely different games, my friend...but you already started the game by responding
