Here’s the original article. Lots of stuff confirming what we kinda already knew. Starts at the top.

One of the team’s minority owners said he believes McNair is calling the shots without interference.
“I’ve looked people in the eye and said, ‘We know this has been a problem. Is it a problem today?’ They’re telling me it’s not,” he said. “Does Vivek have the right to approve trades or give his input? Yeah, but I don’t believe Vivek is micromanaging Monte. I believe Monte is in charge and has total control.”
If anything, this article was mostly “Man, those Vlade years were chaotic!” With a small, mostly swept under-the-rug bit of “but it looks like Vivek’s letting Monte work thus far”did someone just leave the org and decide to spill some tea on the way out? Nothing particularly groundbreaking but I guess there’s always room for another “Vivek bad” piece
The only really new thing in there I hadn’t seen before is that Vivek called Sam Presti to talk about a trade that the Kings were considering, which is completely insane both as a competitive decision and in terms of undermining faith in the FO
Also something already reported but good to see again:
His 10-10 record without Fox that one seasons kind of speaks for itself.
Kinda like the grizzlies being 20-5 this season without Ja? Or does cherry picking games without all the details only work for fox?His 10-10 record without Fox that one seasons kind of speaks for itself.
They didn't just go 20-5, they were blowing teams out.Kinda like the grizzlies being 20-5 this season without Ja? Or does cherry picking games without all the details only work for fox?![]()

Man. Just goes to show how much better Ja is than Fox. Like, his mere presence, without even stepping on the court, is the difference between .500 and .800.
Insane.
they can clown us as much as they want but the team hasn’t made the playoffs since we got rid of them.
make the gold blackForever stand by this; give that color scheme a competent redesign and that uniform would rock.
Doubtful. Ick.Forever stand by this; give that color scheme a competent redesign and that uniform would rock.
This might be the most optimistic thing you’ve ever said. And it’s borderline delusional.Forever stand by this; give that color scheme a competent redesign and that uniform would rock.
Doubtful. Ick.
The entire design is why it’s a trainwrecknotespecially the colors!
Coming soon to the kings team store…

The Kings haven't had a second rounder of note since IT (Petrie). And no undrafted free agent of note since probably Mo Evans (Petrie). McNair has followed this pattern of sucking as a creative talent acquirer by blowing three second round draft picks and finding zero undrafted gems during his tenure.
Here's one small market FO, the best in the league IMO, who actually thrives at finding talent:
