Kings @ Clippers Game Thread

The Kings really put that "We own the Clippers, no matter what" law of the universe to the ultimate test in the 4th quarter, including Brad missing both of those clinching free throws at the end.
 
did anyone else see Ron wait for everyone going into the locker room, patting them all on the head and back saying good game?
 
That was great. I still cannot believe that we won!! I am impressed. How in the world did we manage to win when we TRIED to give them the game with all of the missed free throws? Maybe we really are in their heads!
 
Here's my thinking... Brad was like... "Hmm... We're up by three... I mean, it's IMPOSSIBLE to lose to the Clippers! Well... I'm going to miss these two, giving them a chance. But the Kings-Clippers law will NOT allow them to make it... Giving hope to this pathetic and self-absorbed LA fans... ::insert evil Brad chuckle::"

Yep. just before NBA LP feed was cut off I saw that. Before that he was laughing it up with Brad (probably about those missed FT's).

Yeah he went and bear-hugged Brad after they missed the three... Brad was having a good laugh about it... ::see theory above::
 
lol, it looks like Ron's reading a prepared speech during the post-game interview. But it looks like a statsheet. I just thought it was funny how he was concentrating so hard on the paper. Funny guy.
 
at least they can laugh about the missed fre throws since we held on to win!! Can you imagine if they were able to get a 3?!! I do not think that they would be laughing then! Good thing we do not have to find out!!! ANY WIN IS A GOOD WIN at this point in the season! Let's go home and crush the Rockets!!

HMM...I taped it but havent watched it yet..i was too busy screaming!!! but i will go back in a few and see..unless someone else saw it too....LUCKY #13 = # OF GAMES WE HAVE OWNED THE CLIPPERS!!!!
 
I was not paying too much attention, but one thing I heard was very impressive to me.

Grant talked about moving into 7th place. Ron's response: "We still gotta long way to go. Tomorrow is our most important game. That's just the way it is."
 
BTW, a mini-concern for me is Kevin Martin. He doesn't seem to be taking his shots in rythm anymore. It's clearly a confidence issue, because he hesitates and it throws him off rythm. We will need K-Mart AND Cisco if we want to have any chance in the playoffs.
