Every Kings fan would do this deal in a NY minute! No boston fan would. They can not afford to trade away great young talent while they have such a high pick in this great draft. They can be the team of the future with the team they've put together along with Oden/Durant.

I literally burst out laughing, no offense. Pretending the money didn't matter, the Celtics wouldn't even give us Jefferson for Bibby straight up. Ratliff/West would be an absolute coup at this point.

Al Jefferson is a franchise type guy and is very young and has a bright future. Add in a top pick this year to go along with him and Pierce and you have a great core to challenge for the top spot in the East.

If Boston didn't get a top 2 pick and had their pick in the 3-5 range and we had ours in the 10-12 range would you do the following

Bibby and our #1 pick to Boston
Ratliff and Boston's #1 pick to Sacramento.

This way we improve the draft position by giving us a genuine chance at getting a star big and get rid off Bibby's contract. Ratliff is an expisring deal so we would have some $$$ in the cap after next season.

Variants of this have been proposed all season. I think we'd really need to sweeten the deal at this point, if we wind up around 10 in the draft and all the bigs are gone and they get Oden or Durant I think we could throw in our pick and make it happen.
