[Game] Kings @ Bulls, Monday, Dec. 10 - 5PT/8ET

So, the Bulls players contacted the NBPA about their interim coach, Boylen, and his draconian methods! Sunday practice after a back to back? Yes, tire them out before they play us, you fool!

I don't know if this is a trap game. It's total anarchy in that locker room, and their coach seems like a clueless jerk. We might not beat them by 56 points, but I have the feeling that Giles is going to get some burn tonight, if y'all know what I mean!

Vegas seems to think so, Kings are favored by one possession... Lauri Markannen is a major x-factor for them...

For all the hype of Donovan Mitchell and Jayson Tatum, it's possible that the best 2 players from that draft are D-Fox and Lauri

No guarantees in this league. I hope we come out prepared, because they definitely have guys that can play with Laurie Mark’ coming back

Thankfully this isn’t a back to back. God, i thought the league cut back on those but of course we didn’t benefit

Oh boy. I'm fine with players revolting and quitting on this coach at about 4:58 Pacific Daylight Time.

I remember I wanted to trade Skal for Lauri... some of my fellow posters said they wouldn't have traded him for the #1 overall pick... (sorry guys) I am the guy bringing up the past like you know me "all these years). I shoulda been a The Kings GM, like most anyone on chat boards. :p

Where you seeing this?

Evidently it's on a podcast, but here's a quick write-up, containing a link to the podcast:

There's not a lot there. The jist is that Windhorst has heard we are buyers and not sellers, but has no details outside of that.

Well, shoot, we pretty much knew that. We're angling after Porter, for one. But the situation is obvious: We don't have a pick this year. We're looking surprisingly competitive. We've got cap space to burn. And we don't really have any "sell-worthy" contracts anyway. I doubt there are a lot of teams (any teams at all?) that see Koufos as that big piece that is worth sending a draft pick to grab, nor, despite his pretty decent showing for us this year, Shumpert. But they (and ZBo) are expirings that can provide future cap space. We are hoping to sell cap space - up to about $11M this year and perhaps $20M+ for future years - in exchange for expensive, possibly a bit overpaid talent (or, alternately, cheap talent plus dead money). It doesn't take the proverbial rocket scientist to figure that one out.

BREAKING: Bulls Owner Releases A Statement After Being Held Hostage in Visitors Shower Stall by the Team Over Recent Coaching Debacle

[REDACTED]

Portis and Dunn are both returning. Don't know, feels like we will run into a buzzsaw tonight, hopefully my gut feeling is wrong. This team beat OKC a few days ago and then lost to Boston by 50+, weird team with talented young pieces.

For what it's worth... I'm not really getting that buzz saw vibe. I'm getting the Kings actually coming out strong after that Indiana game which they know they could have won.

I think how we start this game will be very telling of the rest of the contest. If we can step on their throats early I feel we will come out victorious. If however we struggle out of the gate, it might be a little closer than I would like.

Honestly, we should be able to crush these Bulls. Just have to execute and take care of the ball. I hate turnovers. :D

I'm looking forward to the Bags vs Carter Jr match up myself! But you're right about Markannen, kid is a beast. Hopefully WCS can stymie him a bit.

What? Man, I never crawled.. I was too fat. They can skip a step, and it's funny you mentioned the Kentucky derby, we have fox from Kentucky... remember, that has to count for skipping walking, right? o_O

We also have WCS from Kentucky. We have Skal from Kentucky. We had DMC from Kentucky. We had Patrick Patterson from Kentucky. We had Rajon Rondo from Kentucky. ;)

GO KINGS!

MY FAVORITE DEFENSE! The full-court press, which I think should be utilized a lot more than it is.

Fox, Buddy, Shumpert, Bjelica and WCS. Love seeing Iman back out there.

Also love seeing the Kings putting pressure on early. As Kayte said in the pre-game, run their legs off. :)

10-4 start for the Kings.

so of course the officials have to stop play to call some bizarre foul on buddy.

Glad Joerger called that early timeout. Turnovers are the ONE thing we absolutely cannot afford. Once again, Buddy flashes signs of Ciscodom.

I've been asked to toss the score out there occasionally for people reading the thread after the game so...

13-11 Kings with 8:24 left in 1st

...sigh... And it appears as though BozoBuddy is on the court. I wonder if one of the assistant coaches could just smack him upside the head or something to get his attention.
