the effort was there tonight, great game by donte, but our bigs didn't show up. dissapointing for the rest of the team.

Greene played well, Evans had a good game defensively eventhough we lost he played a good game. Nice to see segio get some meaningfull minutes and play well. Thompson and hawes are...... It was a fun game to watch.

Noah was a headcase until this season. I don't regret having Hawes wearing a Kings uniform. I think it's time Hawes wear a different skin and drink whatever Noah has drunk that suddenly turned him to become the player we are seeing now.

It is Extremely clear that we need a Center after watching Hawes the last 2 years. He is such a waste of talent. The sad thing is i dont think he is mentally weak..but physically? Yuck.

dalembert or someone, anyone. if we're not going to play our center than we have to get one in here. its not fair to the other 4 guys on the court.

The only one sending Hawes to the bench is himself. I hope those 4 other guys start to hold his *** accountable.

Sergio got minutes, 20 minutes and he put up good numbers for a back up. 9 points, 5 assists and only 1 turnover. Good game Sergio.

Thompson had 7 turnovers, wow.... Hawes is weak. Our bigs combined for 15 points.

I blame Hawes for JT. They knew they could double JT, and leave Hawes open and he wouldn't make them pay. JT was the sole person in the paint trying to most the time he was in

True. But if the kings look at spencer as the center of the future, and want to develop him as such, he has to play. I'm just as dissapointed in Spencer as everyone else, but he is our only center. So either play him, or get a center.

Everone else played hard tonight, but just didn't hit shots, and made some mistakes you would expect from a young team. Spencer is teh only one who doesn't look like he has his head in the game. Everyone else has off nights, as does every player, but Spencer's effort seems to be constantly misplaced.

Yeah, Noah looked impressive... makes me mad. He has that scrappy mentality, much like Brockman, that just makes him a beast on the glass.

And yet, if you go back and look, there were a lot of people here who didn't want Noah at all. They were convinced he was a loose cannon and a trouble-maker who would never amount to anything.

Yep. We'll get em next time. I trust Westphal as a teacher and leader. He won't belittle our guys for this. He'll praise the positives, point out the negatives. This is a learning game. But you can see the effort was there. And great for Donte! Great to see him have a break out game. There are a lot of positives to take from this one, as well as obvious points to impove on, turnovers being the main one.

oK... Hawes is only 21..21! I think people forget that.. hes 1 year older then tyreke and 2 years younger then thompson.. He has shown potential, but hes sooo young still ..we have to give him time.. This team isnt finding him in any comfortable offensive spots.

I think Noc would have greater influence on the game than Dalembert would..maybe not

It's a definite possibility, especially if you take into account what some sixer fans say about Dalembert.

Nocioni will hustle inside; he will get rebounds; he can hit from outside. All of those traits would have helped a lot tonight.

And I'm more than a little concerned about Hawes for the simple reason he just did not look engaged tonight at all. It was like he was trying to play through gelatinous goo or something. He was a step off right from the beginning...and it only got worse as the game went on.

I know a lot of people are uber-critical of him, but tonight was not normal even as a bad game for him.

They shot extremly well from long range...and despite great Noah on the boards we get even with 41 rebounds at the end, thou I still think Nocioni or Martin wouldn`t helped us tonight! We need center!!!

I was one of them. Coming out of the draft he just looked like a no skill classic example of a bust... or at least a someone who wouldn't ever be better than a 7ppg 7rpg player. I was wrong. I hope Spencer looks at Noahs game and is embarrassed. Spencer has much more skill and ability than Noah does, but Noah right now is a much better player.

He's shown a few minutes of potential, then loiters the rest of the game. He seems to be a pouting, uninspired player who doesn't want to give 100%. How he can be uninspired, surrounded by all the energy on this team is unforgivable.

I LOVED watching this team tonight. Win or lose, this team is exciting again!

Whats dissapointing to me about the Hawes/Noah debate is that Noah looks completely comfortable as a starting center. Doesn't make many mistakes. Defensive rotations are there. Stays out of foul trouble. At least attempts to be physical, although he's a pretty skinny guy.

And Spencer just looks lost, and looks like he's heading towards a reserve role. Its not the stats I'm looking at. Its that Noah looks MUCH more comfortable as an nba player than Hawes, and Hawes looks like he's regressing. Its his body anguage. Shot selection. Defensive positioning. Boxing out. I'm not talking about confidence(which would affect his shots falling), but the basic x's and o's of basketball. Spencer always looks confused and unprepared.
