The Kings will start the "Fox On Health And Safety Protocols" era tonight against Steph Curry, who I hear is on a hot streak.

This is the game thread. Every post in this thread must mention Kyle Guy, or it will be deleted.*

*Well, maybe.

Well, we're already kind of seeing some of the limitations from Tyrese in being the lead pick and roll guard. The Warriors are testing him by showing up, switching, and doubling and it's cutting him off. He's much more of a team facilitator rather than a lead facilitator. He's limited to middle pick and roll right now so Walton should keep running it. The sides will open up and he can find the corners and cutters with his height like DC used to.

So, is Kyle "Guy" Draper our main play-by-play announcer now? It seems like Jones hasn't been on the mic for like the last two weeks.

He’s a rookie with a very high IQ. These are the experiences he needs to learn.

He's going to have to learn a lot or adapt his game to be a true pnr lead guard and he's so good at being an unselfish team passer I'm not sure it would be a benefit for him to augment what he is too much. He sees the game in a very unique way that can fit much better long term as it is IMO. Kind of like this teams Draymond.

Buddy might have a chance to really show what he's got with Fox out. I expect a real breakout opportunity for him.

Well, I’ve seen enough.

Trade Fox for Lonzo, we need a distributor that’ll feed our two superstars, Buddy and Barnes.

Also..... Kyle Guy.

Curry hit 402 3's in 79 games in the 2015-16 season. 5 per game.

That's to be the most freakish season-wide shooting stat I've ever heard.

As of right now, Fox needs to be the main ballhandler next year and not Halliburton. Teams are forced to account for Fox and stop him which creates opportunities for others. That doesn’t happen with Halliburton.

Walton for some reason doesn't hedge his bets on the middle pick and roll with either and with Haliburton that's pretty much his main weapon on the ball. Where his shooting form is an issue is in the middle of the floor off of movement so he has to get into the area to get his floater off. There are ways to work around it but yes, it's a bit limiting. They should fit very well together but Haliburton has to put on at least 15 pounds before next season. Even Curry can shift him around on both ends with a straight arm.

Except Fox doesn’t do a great job of finding others.

His job is to score mostly but the difference is what he does when he draws the attention of the defense and the openings it creates. Players like Fox create those openings on the regular, facilitators like Haliburton find them. It's just different. One usually can put you into a true go to status, the other it would largely depend on your system.

haven't watched many games this season but I do like what I see from Metu. Very active big and all over the place. Needs to get that mid-range shot down and the Kings may have a rotation player
