Rajon Rondo is this teams' best point guard since Mike Bibby. He's a floor general. He's a magician, a surgeon with a basketball. The excitement is back in Sacramento and it is an amazing feeling. It truly is a marvelous spectacle for any fan of this team to witness. I'm proud to say that I've suffered with this team through these last 10 or so years of sorrow. I fully expect a bandwagon of fresh fans to make their way to our kingdom and that's perfectly fine, this team could use all the support that it can get. Last night, July 12th, I had some free time on my hands. I drove about 10 minutes away from my home to the spot of the new downtown arena and future home of our team. I stood in awe at the framework of what is to be one of the most advanced and beautiful arenas in the country. The foundation of our team, DeMarcus Cousins, has expressed his excitement for this upcoming year, and he could not have chosen a better time. Our wonderful general manager and former king, Vlade Divac, has created a team capable of making noise in the gruesome western conference. He's created a team that this city so desperately has coveted and fought tooth and nail for, literally.
Though our hall of fame coach has some work to do, specifically convincing his superstar center to trust in his system, I am confident that he will ultimately be able to right this ship. As has been said, winning cures all, and there is no sweeter medicine ahead for our franchise. For the final time in history, the seats at ARCO arena will rumble beneath the cheer of 17.000 screaming fans. The roar made our home court advantage one of the best in the NBA will be restored.
2015-2016, this season is when all of our suffering and support is made all worthwhile. Buckle up, Kings fans, it's going to be one hell of a ride.
