Stupid Mavs fan:
"If Matthews goes to Sac we should S&T Rondo for Mclemore/Collison."
Plan B doesn't look so bad... Sign Rondo to $10 mill. leaving $14-15 mill. to upgrade the bench (Koufos, Stuckey, etc.).
If Matthews not singing means more minutes for BMac that means complete catastrophe for the franchise. The ENTIRE plan is to bring in major NBA players dropping Ben back to more appropriate place off the bench. If Ben is getting more minutes when this is all said and done, it means a complete collapse of the plan, and likely a sayonara Cousins.
You really think Matthews is going to be that much better than B Mac? I don't. Matthews is a good player, not a great player, who is on the decline; B Mac is a good player (Slightly less good than Matthews right now, though) who is on the ascent.
YuckMaybe:
Rondo, $10m.
Koufos, $9.5m.
Casspi, $2.5m.
------------
Total, $22m.
$2m. left over for some room in any future trades.
frustrating? I think Green is the guard version of Derrick Williams... only slightly better at basketballHow is Gerald greens defense?
I was thinking the same thing. Also the 12M of Ty Lawson is getting cheaper and cheaper with all this new contracts offered lately.
Also the 12M of Ty Lawson is getting cheaper and cheaper with all this new contracts offered lately.
Teletović also sounds appealibg for some reason...Dead-eye three-point shooter.
Who do we trade? Ben, Rudy, Demarcus, Darren, or WCS?Also we could always sign Rondo and then go after a bench via trades.
None, but as long as there's a chance you are still in the game, and I'm not sure we can afford to lose this (or even admit to it...)
BTW Carmichael Dave thinks is going to the Mavs and just tweeted:
Carmichael Dave @CarmichaelDave
DUN DUNN DUNNNNNN
After someone tweeted Parsons now followes Matthews...
Who do we trade? Ben, Rudy, Demarcus, Darren, or WCS?

As @ESPNSteinLine noted, Kings going hard for Wes Matthews. That offer - 4 years, nearly $65 million - leaves him with a ton to chew on.
