Kings and free agency - part 2

Rem that Beverley is restricted, so if we drop an offer to him, Houston can hold us up 3 days deciding whether to match or not.

Now given our remaining cap room we could still be doing things with the rest of it, but it depends how big the Beverley deal is, and obviously we would need a Rondo answer one way or the other first.

Kings are just getting used and abused by agents. No respect.
unlike the others ... Bev was restricted... this was just a case of did we offer "THAT MUCH MORE" than what HOU was willing to match... It looks like they probably just matched our offer.. or came pretty close at least.

It certainly appears like none of these players we've offered contracts to seriously considered coming to Sacramento.

Can tell the money is running out now, deals are getting more reasonable.

That said I would have driven that one up if we were really talking. They want him back, make them pay $9 to do it.

I've been away from the NBA for a while, but has Rondo become at least an average outside shooter? I mean, at least well enough to keep the lane open for Cousins?

Not worth locking up the cap space for 3 days this late in this game.

I wonder what Dre is going to sign now since we don't need him at all with Rondo on board, would like to see him go to a semi contender like Houston.

Just like it is easier to make money when you already have money, it is easier to sign FAs when you already have a good team.

Do these FAs not know about the new arena?
