I think he's a serviceable backup and I'd like DC to start. Comes with less risk than Rondo and would play like he wanted to be here, character guy.

I think Bass would be a good idea. Familiar with Rondo and has a very solid jumpshot, even shot corner 3's under Stevens and is athletic enough to run the floor and defend.
But Denver keeps poker face on as if they are gonna push for POs. If it costs only our middle-aged youngsters, by all means trade them to Denver, but I feel they will hold out for more.
If you haven't noticed Kings are still missing 1 starting forward. And there's still Room Exception for Omri.
Josh Smith actually makes a lot of sense with what we have now as a first big off the bench scorer. Plus it looks like we're recruiting off the Rudy Gay wedding list/black sheep of the NBA list and he happened to be on both of those. Koufos would be fine, but Smith might actually be more talented and cheaper.

The reward is that he's probably playing for a contract somewhere else in 2016, so he has to play well. Team wins games and goes into the 2016 offseason with tons of cap room and hopefully a lot of bad press put to bed.

I like the skills but I think we need to surround Cuz/Rudy with smart players e.g Rondo/Belli and and I don't think Smith falls into the smart category.
Koufos was very good when in Denver under Karl. If we have about 10 mill remaining, I'm offering 7-8mill for 4 years. I think he's by far the best guy out there in our range. Cuz, Koufos and WCS as the bigs with Gay getting his minutes at the 4 also. Seems they need to sign Casspi. Get those 2 guys and we got something Karl can make work.

It's not odd....somehow, somewhere along the way, he got his panties in a bunch over Sac......or the other theory is that Fegan is a hugely important source for him.

As long as Rondo knows that the ball goes to Cousins 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th it should be OK. This ain't Rondo's team.
