As much as I love Morey, if he holds Simmons and they don't at least make a conference finals this year, I think i'd seriously consider bouncing him. You have Joel Embiid smack dab in the middle of his prime playing like a top 3 player and on a super short list for MVP candidates. Wasting his season is so so dumb to me, especially him being a 7'0 footer nearing 11,000 minute played with serious previous injury issues.
I get the whole value philosophy, but Im damn certain there have been some good enough Simmons offers that could easily put this team as like a top 3 title favorite.
Monte might want to consider not playing Buddy to protect whatever shambles of his trade value are left. On the other hand, Buddy is TANK COMMANDER.
Maybe Morey gives us Simmons for Hali after tonight, though I'm not sure I'd want to do that.
Hali just imagined every single Sixer guarding him was Robert Woodard eating a cheesesteak wrong all game.Hali must of really liked those cheesesteaks he had
Morey is exhibiting the sort of audacity that a general manager can only have, when their franchise player is locked in for four more years... Mans better hope that Embiid doesn't sign with Klutch Sports...As much as I love Morey, if he holds Simmons and they don't at least make a conference finals this year, I think i'd seriously consider bouncing him.,, Wasting [Embiid's] season is so so dumb to me, especially him being a 7'0 footer nearing 11,000 minute played with serious previous injury issues.
Richaun was WIDE open under the basket on that last possession.
Entertaining game to watch and contributed to the tank. That's what I call good Kings basketball!
Fox being on this list twice is crazy because I'm pretty sure both of those games happened in a single week and the entire forum has been trying to trade him ever since.

It’s a LIN-LIN.
Feels like that ship has sailed with the Pacers looking like they're content to tank the rest of this season and punt any moves to the offseason. The more prudent move right now might be sitting Fox for the next several dozen games to make sure his "ankle injury" is healthy and dump whatever older players we can and do a T-Wolves-style half-tank.
Surprisingly, it was against the Warriors and the Pels. Fox did have two other game against the Pels with monster stat lines but he didn't have enough steals to meet the criteria of that tweet.and if I had to guess the opponent for those stats, I'd guess New Orleans x 2
After this game, Morey will now decrease his asking price to Ty + 10 frp and filler for Ben.Tyrese Haliburton is good at the basketball
He's just waiting. There's no way Ben doesn't get traded by the deadline for the reasons you pointed out.

Yes I did, might as well let kid get some valuable experience since he's 22 and the season is basically over, but yeah let's shove the young rookie in the bench for the rest of the season for development, that's the Kings way...Lol. Did you just seriously defend Queta going against Embiid??? He got punked 2x in that 30 seconds...
And yeah, Len has a better chance..

It's funny because they are cruising a bit through the regular season but I have a feeling as soon as they stumble a bit in the playoffs it will all be a bunch of backbiting and savaging who didn't trade who for what. Same thing happened last year, when they knew early they were in a rut and could have apparently had Harden but wouldn't do it. Now they allegedly want Harden since I have a feeling they won't get Dame or Beal. Either way you would expect Philly would have to send more than Ben back for either of those two.And he’s an idiot for continuing to wait.
Hispatiencestubbornness actually drove the desperate KINGS away (allegedly). Think about that.
At some point it was time to realize he doesn’t have all that much leverage, and get a good return. If Tyrese or Fox was on the table as reported, along with a draft pick or two, he’s a flat out clown for not taking it and demanding more.
IDC if Philly nets a better deal in the offseason. If it results in wasting a prime season for Embiid and the Sixers team as whole — it most likely won’t be worth the difference.
And if Philly ends up with lesser deal, oh boy……

Without Embid and Simmons, that Philly roster is less talented than the Kings. Maxey doesn’t have a consistent 3 point shot and lacks Fox’s burst. Harris looks like he’s 35. Only player who will elevate Embid is Matisse. Max pain will happen when they get trounced in the first or second round of the playoffs.
That’s why I think the Kings “walking away” from trade talks is much like my dad walking away from the dealer at a car lot…nothing is stopping them from turning back around for the right deal! And he’s an idiot for continuing to wait.

All that talent the Kings have on there roster and yet they are 18-33 in a down year in the western conference. If it was one year that would make the playoffs it would be this season. Yet they fired their coach, and has a GM who know he cant attract top tier free agent talent. Who are the Kings and their fans kidding hahahaha
