ah...you are correct. i completely forgot that they acquired raja bell.
And all Raja did was knock down 40% of his threes last year. So again, while they will not be the three point bombing power they were last year, neither are they really hurting on that front.

He'll be better than Q-Rich overall though, more versatile. Though, the Suns only occasionally utilized Q-Rich's post-up ability, as we saw, he was basically just a 3-point shooter. Where the posting-upwas used a lot at Clippers I heard, and saw it quite a bit when he was at DePaul. Larry Brown will surely utilize that now that he's with the Knicks. But I think Bell will be better, ultimately.

Raja Bell is a nice role-player, he is a hustle guy, but after losing Q AND Johnson, the Suns will have to do something to save face. Letting Q go without getting JJ looks pretty foolish at the moment.

Both teams do have a shot at it, but I have seen alot of teams rise to the top fast and blow the next year. twolves anyone? I can imagine the same for the suns, infact I bet they will suck big time. I am not even going to comment about who will win the div since the kings dont have a good PF. I dont think the suns will be close to as good as last year.

edit: I take this part back.
I think the suns will score 100ppg or less is my bet and with the same defensive intensity:eek:.

TWolves are not in our division.

Suns still have Marion, Nash and Stoudemire. Bell is a good addition, and Kurt Thomas has some quality. Thomas and Bell are both better than average defender, so I think it's a stretch to say their defense will be the same. They won't be as good I think simple because of the sophomore slump after resurging so fast, but they will be more consistent and still have an easy path at winning the Pacific, at least until the Kings add a good PF or LA proves they can win games or GS proves they can play an entire season. I won't make a solid prediction until the offseason is over.
