KF "Official" 2008 NBA Draft selection thread

He played in a professional MENS league. It was not college, these were full grown men. College is made for young men, professional leagues are not. Far heavier, far stronger. The French league is pretty good. Say what you like, but I certainly wouldn't bet against Ajinca. He'd have started for most college teams.

Not demeaning him, just pointing out a simple interesting fact..

You gotta feel sorry for Darrell Arthur, for whom Ric Bucher has just revealed some kind of kidney problem.

Whoa, great pick for Houston. He's the sleeper of this draft. Unbelievable value for pick 25. I would have been happy with him at 12.

DArrell arthur might be following Josh Mcroberts footsteps.... i feel bad for the guy...

so who is our projected players to be drafted at the 2nd round? come on petrie work work work :D

Who, Hill? Sure you're not thinking of Mike Taylor?

As an aside, what are the chances of one of CRD, Arthur, Chalmers etc. being there for us in the 2nd?

15 picks is a looong way to go for those three guys to fall. But stranger things have happened.

Nathan Jawii, Richard Hendrix, Deandre Jordan, Joey Dorsey, Devon Hardin. All still available none of them would be a bad pick at #42 or #43 One of the picks has to be a pg.

Really surprised by that pick. Not very big and not very athletic, and some guys ready to contribute still on the board.

Detroit is going to trade DJ white for the 32nd and 46th picks from Seattle. I bet they will try to get Deandre Jordan with the 32nd pick

Um.... ok!

Guys, 11 picks left before we pick: CDR, Jordan, Chalmers, Dorsey, Hardin still on the board. Think we are starting to have a decent chance to get one.

detroit's front court is getting a little old.. with wallace

maxxiell is pretty good but they need another front court player

nbrans I found the perfect Petrie pick. Jamont Gordon. most VERSATILE player in the draft. Listed as PG/SG/SF at 6'3 he did average 5 ast. you know how GP likes versatility.
