I listened to part of this interview last night live. Its good stuff. Kevin really seems like a classy guy and has a great attitude. I really enjoyed the part about Brad being able to outrun him. The part where he discussed some of the weirdest things he's been asked to sign was frightening.

Here's a very rough breakdown of the conversation. I just let my fingers go while I listened to the interview again and this is what I came up with.

Kevin was at the Metro PCS event last night signing autographs. He made a joke that he doesn’t use his groin to sign autographs. Kevin said his groin is really sore. His whole game is impacted by the injury. This is Kevin’s first major injury, he is looking forward to seeing how it affects him mentally. CD asked him what he does to prepare for events and autograph sessions. Kevin doesn’t do any hand exercises or calisthenics, he just gets right to the signing. Kevin made a joke about watching film to prepare himself for autograph sessions. Kevin said the weirdest thing he ever signed was a lady’s underwear. CD commented on Kevin’s new contract, complimented on Kevin stepping up his game and that he doesn’t stop working hard after a new contract. Kevin said that he loves the game and doesn’t stop working. The Kings made a big investment and he is not going to let them down. He hasn’t bought anything special since his extension was signed. He joked that it doesn’t kick in until next year. CD asked about Kevin showing up at different UFC events and watching UFC. Kevin said he isn’t really into UFC. His favorite sport outside of basketball is college football. His favorite team is Michigan. Small talk about Michigan football and the head coach. Kevin gets some flack about Ohio State owning Michigan. Kevin needs to pick up a new hobby while injured. CD commented on the Kings record but that the effort has been there. Kevin said that the players control if they win or lose, the coaches have no effect on it. Kevin plays lots of video games, he is a PS3 guy. Playing NBA Live 08 at the moment. Only uses himself in the game. He said the visual representation is pretty accurate. He mentioned that the NBA Live game has him and Brad at almost the same speed. CD joked that given the injury, Brad could probably keep up with him right now.

K-Mart's the real deal, as we all say. I'm glad that he's on our team. Nice sense of humor--way better than Otis Thorpe's, for sure, not that I'm knock'n Thorpe any bit.

Was a great interview, Dave is an awesome host who is probably the only one on the radio who doesnt seem fake, no offense to Grant or Koz, of course. Plus he's a big MMA guy, so thats all good too. Very fun interview with Dave and Kevin.
